Warnings: drama, plot twists, errors I missed.

The sound of the car's tires moving against the gravel made the woman look up. Nerves wrecking through her body. As the PI's car rolled to a stop in front of her. Headlights blinding her vision. Black spots appearing in her vision. The lights dimmed down a bit.

She quickly walked up to the car. The window rolling down. Revealing a man.

"Did you find anything?" The woman asked. As the guy reached over to the glove box. Opening it up and grabbing a manila folder.

"Everything you asked for, though I did find something interesting about your daughter," He spoke. Handing her the folder.

"She's dead," The woman spoke. Making the guy furrow his brows. Forehead creasing.

"Look at the photos," He spoke. She quickly opened the folders. Looking at the photos. Eyes welling up with tears as she saw her grandchildren, she flipped to another photo seeing them at a carnival, heart-swelling.

"They are in Charming. A catholic family took them in," He spoke. Eyeing the woman as she flipped through the pictures he took. He smirked slightly as she let out a gasp.

"She's alive," The woman gasped out. As she saw a photo of you zoomed in. Talking to a blonde guy. The woman's thumb traced the picture of you.

"Sure, knows how to pick them," The guy grumbled.

"I need you to keep tabs on her," She gasped out. Looking up at the guy.

"Thought you would say that I want double of what you are paying me," He spoke.

"Anything, I just need you to keep an eye on her," She spoke. Giving him a pleading look. He smiled at her.

"Your wish is my command," He smiled, before rolling the window back up. She took a step back as he drove off. Clutching the manila folder closer to her chest. Her daughter was alive...
