Alyssa's POV

My eyes were popping out of my head and my mouth is hanging wide open as I process what just happened. It still feels as if it wasn't even real, but it actually was. Quickly, I dialed my best friend Brooke's number. I told her to come to my house and then silently waited for her arrival.

When I heard a knock on my door, I ran to it and dragged Brooke inside. I continued to drag her up the stairs until we reached my room.

"You'll never guess what just happened!"

"What's going on Lyss?" Brooke says in confusion.

"I just had a full on conversation with Luke Hemmings. THE Luke Hemmings!"

"Oh, ok Alyssa. I totally believe you." Brooke sits down on my bed and starts to laugh like crazy.

"I'm not joking! I have proof." I said instantly grabbing my phone and dialing the number. As I waited for him to answer, I sent her a smirk, while she just stared at me weirdly.

"Hello?" I heard his Australian accent speak through the phone and a smile grew on my face.

"Oh hey Luke, I must have called you by accident. Sorry!"

"It's okay, but I gotta go, talk to you later?"

"Definitely, Bye!" I hung up the phone and looked at Brooke to see her looking shocked.

"You better not be tricking me right now because if you are I swear to god I will rip your tongue out of your mouth."

"Geez Brooke, why would I joke about something as important as this?"

"This is amazing Lyss! So much can happen to you now! I mean think about it, if you keep talking to him, you can become friends, and then start dating, and then get married and make the cutest babies ever!" Brooke says and I start laughing hysterically.

"That would never happen Brooke, I mean, he's Luke Hemmings for Christ's sake! There are so many other girls that are so much better than me. Plus, he doesn't even know my name! I doubt we would even become friends." I say and start to laugh at how impossible any of the things she said were.

"It is not impossible! Let's make a bet. If anything I said comes true, you owe me 20 bucks. But if anything I said doesn't come true, I'll give you 20 bucks. Deal?" Brooke says and I laugh.

"Deal. Guess I'll be making 20 dollars then."
