Once you both pull away you look at her in an emotionless face.
L- what?
U- you need to leave
L- w-what?
U- you need to leave, you can't just come here contradict yourself, make me spill everything and then you kiss me! You can't do that lena you can't! You can't waltz in here say you feel the same and expect me to be happy and ok with this?!
L- I thought you'd be happy.... I-I thought that if I tell you we would be ok that you'd maybe want to go on a date with me. O-or I-I thought you'd be happy and come back! You left national city because of me I-I thought me coming here telling you this would make it be ok I hoped that we could be together like I've wanted for so long now what I thought you have wanted for a while!
U- well you thought wrong just because of my feelings for you doesn't mean I will just fall into your arms and everything will be ok, you broke me ok Lena you broke me and just cause you said what I've wanted you to say to me for years now doesn't mean I'll be ok and happy about this. You broke me and I went away from everyone so I could fix what you broke cause I was such a mess when you left. Just cause you come here to try and fix what you said doesn't make the damage go away ok? I-I need time Lena I need time to fix myself, I need time to feel ok again. I love you Lena I have for years but I need to be away from you and everyone in national city for a while ok? And I'm sorry that your journey here didn't come as planned Lena but plans don't go to plan. I'll see you when I go home and then we can talk about our feelings and us but until then you umm you need to go

U- Lena, you've been through worse than this you can... I'll be back as soon as I feel like I can and don't feel broken
L- y-y/n I— please I need you please
U- I'll be back with you in national city as soon as I can
L- ok but just so that you know... I love you, I won't stop loving you, I will fight you you and I'll wait for you I just need you to know that y/n/n
U- I do know, I'll wait for you too I'll do the same for you I just need time
L- and I'll give you it
You smile through your tears
U- I-Im sorry
L- don't be if I said what I felt before this would never of happened, I'll see you soon and we can talk this through ok?
U- ok
L- bye love
U- bye lee
She kisses you and leaves. Once she leaves you fall down the wall and start crying then Caitlin walks in
C- y/n...
U- please just hold me I'll be ok
C- ok
She holds you and you both eventually go to her place and you eventually fall asleep
Skip 3 months
You have gotten better and your ready to go to back to national city.
C- are you sure your ready
U- I'll be ok cait... I promise
C- ok call me when you get there
U- I will
You hug her and a few hours later you get to national city. You get to your apartment, you unlock the door and walk inside, it looks more messy but you ignore it you can't remember what it looked like when you left but you can't remember. Right now you just want to put on the tv and relax before you go back to work so you lay on the couch all day watching tv. Around 7pm the door unlocks and you see Lena walk through the door, you look confused but you hide to see what she's doing. She puts her stuff down, grabs a bottle of wine and glass and pours it out, she sits on the chair under the kitchen counter and start drinking and crying
L- I miss her... I miss her so much, why did she have to leave, I can't do this anymore, it's my fault she left, it's my fault I made her hurt and in pain and it's my fault I'm like this I-I-
She starts crying more, you get up and walk over to the kitchen
U- lee...
She shots her head up
L- y-y/n?
U- it's me I'm home
L- I'm hallucinating you're not here you're not here
U- I'm here you're not hallucinating
L- you're home you're actually home
She runs and hugs you
L- you're home
U- I'm home I'm here
She hugs you tighter
U- I've missed you
L- I've missed you more
U- why are you here even though it's my apartment right?
You joke a little
L- I couldn't survive the 3 months without seeing something about you so I thought I'd take a hoodie but then it was late and I kinda forgot to leave
You kiss her
U- that's very cute, but I'm glad you've been living here otherwise I wouldn't of had the courage to talk to you cause of the way we left each other
L- I told you I'll wait and I'm not mad that you left I knew I broke you and especially after your ex you promised yourself not to fall for anyone then you did and I shattered your heart so I don't blame or hate you
U- you don't Hate me?
L- no I don't and I could never hate you ok you've been my best friend for years and hopefully my girlfriend In the future
U- is this your way of asking me to be your girlfriend lee
L- yes, we said that we will talk about our feelings when you came back and you did so I—
You kiss her more passionately and for longer
L- I-wow
You giggle at her reaction
L- so it that a yes
U- it's defiantly a yes
She kisses you
U- and I'm sorry for reacting the way I did in central city
L- don't be I get it
U- ok... do you want to watch a movie and cuddle
L- yeh I've not been able to sleep without knowing your ok
U- well I hope you being with me now will help you sleep
L- me too
You pick a movie, Lena snuggles into you and you both eventually fall asleep both finally getting a good night sleep in over three months. You both finally got what you wanted and you both couldn't be happier
