Tugging earphones in ears, having her head hung low, she walked in the hallways ignoring all the noisy students making a fuss here and there. She was thinking about what happened between her mom and her.
*Flashback*
"Dear, I-I have something to tell you." Her mother, Lee So-un said, stuttering a bit. The girl looked at her mother blankly so her mom continued "Please don't get angry b-but....... I have a boyfriend." She said and immediately closed her eyes ready to listen to her daughter's rambling. But, when she didn't heard anything from her mouth, she slowly opened her eyes to see her sitting, having her usual blank face on.
They fell into silence, it was very heavy and suffocating for the poor mother. She opened her mouth to speak again trying to lessen the tension but her daughter was fast enough to beat her. "And?" was the only thing that came from her mouth. Her mother was relieved seeing her all calm but oh..... this is what she thought..... what she didn't knew was how hard her daughter was trying to control her anger.
"W-We are going to his house today for dinner." So-un, her mother said slowly and waited for her to respond. After a good 1 min silence, she just nodded and got up to go to her school.
*Flashback End*
"Deji!" Somebody called for the girl taking her out of her train of thoughts. She knew who the person was so she didn't stopped and continued walking.
Deji, a high school, second year student. She is 14. In school, everyone calls her mysterious. Why? You may ask. Well, she is very calm and never gets involved with anybody. She neither speaks nor shows her emotions to anybody.
She is always within herself. She has a friend, Luna. But, she doesn't care about her. But... does she really not care or just does not shows it? You never know.
"Hey! Can you please stop walking and wait for me?" Luna asked or more like shouted while running towards her friend. She didn't stop. Luna ran all the way to her and halted for a bit to catch her breathe when she saw her friend stopping. Hands on knees bending a little, panting hard, she eagerly took deep breaths.
Deji turned to face her friend and saw her breathing heavily. She kept her blank face on and silently waited for her.
"Y-you shouldn't do this. You should have waited a little for me. I'm your friend after all." Luna said breathing heavily, starting to rant and looked up to Deji for her to say something. "Yah! Are you even listening?" She asked when she saw her friend not even paying attention to her.
Deji looked at her and said "you should go to your class." And started to walk again. Her friend hurriedly walked towards her to catch up with her. "No, you are my only friend and I'm not leaving you alone. I'll walk you to your class. I have 15 minutes till my class starts anyways." She said and smiled at her friend.
Luna, a naïve girl with pure heart. Deji met her when she was being bullied. Deji didn't like when somebody tried to bully someone weak and so she stepped in and stood for Luna when everybody was laughing at her. Luna was the first and probably the last girl Deji helped. Since then, Luna has always sticked to Deji like glue.
They were now standing in front of Deji's class room. "Go inside. I too, have to go now otherwise I will be late as my class is in the next building." Luna said slightly pushing Deji towards her class room.
Deji just looked at her once and walked towards her class. "Bye!!!" Luna shouted as she saw her friend moving to her seat. She sighed before going to her class.
*Time Skip*
Deji was now walking to her home when she remembered "Now i have to get ready for the so called dinner." She sighed and shrugged all the thoughts away.
