There was something about the way he carried himself. He was intoxicating and irresistible, and the worst part was he knew it too. I was such a fucking fool to fall right into his arms. A stupid fool, who let him get exactly what he wanted.

I had just graduated high school a little less than a year ago and I had the unignorable urge for something exciting and new. I had graduated the top of my class and I was famously known in my small sorcery school for being the strongest. But before I could make my true mark in the sorcery world, I needed some more experience. I had been given the opportunity to be a part time teacher to the students at the Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical High School (even though I was nearly the same age as most of the kids there). It was thanks to graduating top of class and having defeated several severely powerful curses that I was offered the part time job. Despite the fact that it seemed painfully boring and quite the opposite of an adventure, I decided to share some of my techniques with the new and growing sorcerer.

The first week was just me getting used to the school grounds and their policies. I had the principal, Masamichi Yaga, show me around for the first day. But after that a girl, who seemed to be just a few years older than me, named Akari Nitta was always with me. She was bubbly and kind which was a good change from being around their intense principal. She taught me about the basic layout of their lessons and gave me brief overviews on how to teach and how to be a good teacher, simple things that seemed like common sense. But I figured it'd be fun to act dumber than I was, to have it easier at first.

It was finally Friday and next week would be my first official time teaching. Nitta and I walked down the school's hall walls talking about our plans for the weekend. When we exited the school I could see a small crowd of girls outside near the school's gates. They seemed to be hovering around some guy, they were ecstatic, one of them was even jumping up and down. Nitta ignored it, like she'd seen it before. She quickly turned around to face me and to say goodbye. But before I could even finish saying my goodbye she grabbed my sleeve in shock and said, "Oh God! I completely forgot to introduce you to all the faculty! I am such a bad mentor!" She pulled her hand off me and hit it to her forehead. She was completely right. I was just as shocked as she was because I hadn't even noticed that I hadn't officially met any of them. I had only been introduced to the students and had said brief hellos to teachers in the halls and such things like that.

I waved my hand dismissively in the air and said, "Don't worry about it. It's not that big of a deal. in fact i hadn't even noticed it until you pointed it out. I'll just meet them next week." I could tell how much this tiny detail was weighing on Nitta, "No no it's not ok. I'm really sorry." She started to look around us to see if she could find any teachers still lingering around to introduce me to. Then her eyes settled on the crowd of girls still by the school's entrance. She held back laughter as she headed towards the crow saying, "This will have to do." She waved at me to follow, and without hesitation, I did.

I was right, the herd of girls was surrounding some guy. He had intensely white hair and wore a dark blindfold over his eyes. He was much taller than all the girls and had to tilt his head to face them. He seemed to be having a great time. He was laughing and smiling widely. The closer we got the more sure I was about who he was.

He was Satoru Gojo, there was no mistake about it. Kitta called out and shooed the girls away with her hands to get closer to him. She made enough room next to her for me to stand by her side. "Gojo. I would like to introduce you to our newest faculty member. She's going to be working part time and she just graduated high school almost a year ago. I totally forgot to introduce her to the rest of the faculty! So this is kind of my mistake that you two are just meeting now."
"She hasn't met anyone else yet?" he asked, turning towards me and losing his smile. I shook my head in the same cold expression he had so abruptly changed to. "It's nice to finally meet you," Gojo said with his smile quickly returning. "Likewise," I said, keeping my icing stare. I wanted him to know that he wasn't the only one who was talented at such a good age. By the time I was twenty eight I could be just as good as him. Hell if not better!!
