The awakening

You wake in on a beach, you have no clue who you are, why you are on a beach with no memory... And... NAKED "WHY AM I NAKED" you scream at the top of your lungs. But no one was around you look behind you to look for someone? And looks like today is your lucky day. You turn around to see a brown trench coat hanging on a palm tree. So you walk over and put it on, it's a surprisingly good fit, you quickly check the pockets and find a pocket watch. You turn it over and it has a something inscribed on It, the word 'Athena' "Athena, umm... that has a nice ring to it, yes that's what I'll call myself until I find out who I really am."

It looks like you're very lucky today because just past the palm tree is a war ship. Ok it looks like it's seen better days, who are you kidding it's a total mess. The decking has holes that you can see the ocean under the ship. You look around to find any identification of the ship. Nope there is no clue what this ship is called, not even a serial number. Oh well your luck has run out. It seems you walk along the long winding corridors, even the insides were destroyed, even certain points that you were sure that were a part of the integrity were blown apart.

Anyway, you somehow manage to stumble your way to the bridge, and it was in the same state as the rest of the ship. Oh well, at least you will have a nice place to sleep tonight, you walk behind the bridge into a corridor. You walk a couple of feet until the hallway stops. Looks like an ap shell went straight through here. Hang on, how do you know that, you don't have time to question it, you're too tired, you turn left to find a door labelled 'captain Athena quarters' well that seems like where you got the jacket from. You open the bulk head (you still don't know how you know what these things are called) and walk in. This room is a mess well you have time to sort it out. You remember your dad saying 'daughters take pride in every little thing you do, then when it comes to take pride in the big things it becomes second nature. Also, if you take pride in it, it becomes more joyful when you complete it'. You can't remember what he looked like or how he sounded. But you know that was something he said.

---Thirty minutes later---

You have cleaned up the room, your dad was right if feels good knowing that you have completed it, you walk over it the desk and open the book called 'Athena diary' you deicide to read the last page just to know what happened to her and the crew.

1943 June 6th 18.30
The admiral has ordered us to attack a fleet. A HOLE FUCKING FLEET. Just one battle class destroyer and they have 2 battleships, 3 destroyers and 1 aircraft carrier. We're about to commence our attack. If this works, I'll have to take this up with high command.

1943 June 6th 19.00
We have managed to sink most of the fleet just a badly crippled aircraft carrier and we're out of shells and torpedoes. I've lost most the crew only me and Tom remain and we're going to ram the bastards into the locker. I wish whoever is reading this to tell the story of the blood blade and her crew and we fought past the last shell.

That's when the log ended. Well, that's given you the will to live, you got to share their story but for now it's time to sleep so you walk over to the bed and quickly fall asleep.
