Knowing Natasha's only smart mode of transportation is train once she gets into Hungary, Freya flies straight to Budapest and finds a safe place to land near the train station. She enters the depot, grabs a coffee and waits. It isn't long before she senses Natasha nearby. And it doesn't take long after that for a hand to appear in front of Freya's face as it sticks an ear piece for comms out to her.
"I see you got my message," Natasha smirks. Freya looks up at the clearly disheveled redhead.
"Loud and clear. You okay?"
"Never been better," Natasha sighs.
"Well, care to fill me in on what's going on?" Freya climbs to her feet and tosses the remainder of her coffee before they head out at a brisk walk.
"I got a delivery from Rick. Some stuff that was from the safe house here."
"Mason?" Freya quirks an eyebrow. "The guy that has a crush on you?"
"Mhmm," Natasha hums. "Turns out I had a package from my little sister."
"Where is Rick?"
"I dropped him off at the Norway safehouse. I got attacked not long after."
"Ah, so that's why you were all the way up there," Freya chuckles.
"Yeah. Remind me to never do a favor for that man again," Natasha grumbles, pulling a snort from Freya.
"Have you spoken to Yelena yet?"
"No, not yet. I'm sure she's holed up at the safe house though," Natasha says. "There were some kind of vials in the package that Taskmaster seems to be after."
"I know. I saw his handy work," Freya sighs. They both push through a crowd of people and keep their heads down as they exit the depot. "What do you need me to do?"
"I'll go up to the room. You canvas the rooftops. Let me know if anyone's coming while I have a chat with Yelena."
"You think she'll even wanna talk after all these years?" Freya questions
"We're gonna find out."
The two women make their way over to the safe house. When they get there, Freya flies up to the roof tops across the street to get a bird's eye view. As she does, her stomach starts to stir with an uneasy feeling.
"Any movement?" Natasha whispers over comms.
"Not yet. But I don't have a good feeling about this," Freya sighs.
"Great..." Natasha mutters. "I'm coming up to the door. Leaving comms open," she whispers.
"Copy that," Freya replies. She eyes the building closely. There's a flash of black out of the corner of her eye. But when her eyes dart over to where the movement was, there's nothing there. "Be advised, I think we might have company." She receives a frustrated sigh in response.
"I know you know I'm out here," Natasha suddenly says. Freya realizes she's found Yelena and trains her hearing in on the new conversation. She hears a door slam before Natasha replies to Yelena again "'Cause I don't know if I can trust you."
Freya can hear a faint chuckle from Yelena in the background now before her Russian accent barely picks up over the comms.
"Funny, I was going to say the same thing."
"Ah, shit," Freya mutters. "This isn't gonna go well." Natasha replies with a quiet, amused snort.
"So, we gonna talk like grown-ups?"
"Is that what we are?" Yelena's voice is loud and clear now. Indicating that Natasha has finally faced off with her. Both of them, without a doubt, holding each other at gun point. "Put it down. Before I make you."
