No One's POV:
𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗘𝗬𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗗𝗦 𝗙𝗟𝗨𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗗 open, you were surprised to find a pair of identical (eye color) eyes peering right into yours. "Mama," the voice the eyes belonged to softly whispered, "it's morning time." It was then that you realized it was none other than Hiroshi coaxing you awake.

Taking your time sitting up, you stretched your stiff limbs while releasing a rejuvenating yawn.

"Morning, sweetie." You greeted as you tenderly pat his head, making your son swoon before he looked up at you with big curious eyes. "What're you doing down here, mama?"

His question had you furrowing your brows until you scanned your surroundings and felt yourself wondering the exact same thing. It appears you've fallen asleep on the yellow couch in the living room instead of your bed, but you had no recollection of doing so.

'Did...did I sleepwalk during that dream?'

"Mama just wanted to get an early start on breakfast, baby." You lied with a sickeningly sweet smile but it was enough to convince Hiroshi who innocently grinned back, completely oblivious to your dishonesty. "Oh, okay! Can I go play with my toys until it's ready?"

"Of course you can, Hiro," you replied, watching him happily run to the living room doorway. Just as he was about to leave, he paused and turned around. "It's gone," he announced with a relieved expression on his young face, confusing you yet again with his choice of words.

"What's gone, Hiro?"

His smile radiated naivety, "The bruise...it's gone."

And with that, the six-year-old departed, and you found yourself staring wide-eyed at the place he once stood just moments before. Quickly rising from the couch to exit the living room, you walked to the very end of the hallway, where a tall mirror hung on the wall.
