chapter 2 - Lia has a Idea

This is ridiculous, I'm a straight A student! A little back sass gets me held back!? I don't want to stay here any longer, and I wont!

I sit on my bed sobbing, suddenly I hear the door open and I quickly wipe my tears away. "Lia, what happend at mr. Jackersons office?" Amelia walks over to the bed sitting beside me. She looks at me concerned. "There making me stay here another year! I don't understand Amelia, I'm a straight A student. I can control my bending 100 present! That was the only rule before leaving!" I cry. "What the hell! Another year because of a little back sass?" Amelia looks pissed. "Let's order some food from the diner down stairs, that will make you feel a little better... and we'll talk this out" Amelia suggests grabbing the home phone from beside the bed. "And I'm so sick of the same foods all the time! I want to be able to be free! I'm not a monster! I didint ask for fire bending, if I had a choice I definitely wouldn't have it!" I practically yell, I was getting very angry and I could feel my skin boil. "Hey... Lia... you might want to calm down" amelia suggests noticing that I'm very angry. "Me calm down? I'll show you calm!" I shoot fire from my hands, past Amelia and it hits the night stand catching it on fire. Uh oh... this cannot be good.
We begin putting out the fire and we sigh with relief that we was able to put it out before anything else got damaged.

Later:

"Amelia... I have a bad but great idea. " I begin. She looks over to me with one eyebrow raised. "I want to figure out how to get out of here.. I want to go out and be free, and I will be back before sun up... no one will ever notice!" I say excitingly "how the hell are you going to get past the guards and the electric fense?" Amelia asks shocked at what I just said. "I have a plan...."
