"Good afternoon Roman, hie Allysa, Thalia, um afternoon uncle Marc." Vincent greeted the four witches in the workroom, they all still made him very nervous because each one of them was scary powerful. "Afternoon Vinny, and why in the hell are you calling him uncle?" Allysa questioned as she moved from the callamus weed she had been watering. "Well Allen is like a second dad to me and if I don't acknowledge his mate properly, I don't think he would like that." The hybrid replied shyly making Thalia scoff, but she didn't say anything.
"Cute reason kiddo." Roman asserted as he turned toward them. "Today we are having our lesson out there, all of you besides Marc need this lesson but for an extra set of hands he's tagging along." Roman exclaimed as they looked at him with a bewildered expression, lately they barely used the combat arena, it must've been a serious lesson, and indeed it was as Vincent was pushed to the ground by the gravity that weighed down on him the moment he stepped over the glowing golden force field that covered the whole arena. "Stand up Vincent." Marc ordered and the boy pushed with all his will and mana to stand up, seeing this the four witches around him smiled, he was becoming more of a fighter everyday.
"Why are you holding this lesson, the master of enchantments knows more about this, if I'm correct." Vincent argued and sure enough Roman could admit Allen knew more about this kind of magic. "Yes, he does, but, Allen is currently spending the day with his future mother in law, she, and I say this without care, is demanding, and she expects great things." Roman replied whilst playfully looking at Marc who rolled his eyes but it was true, his mother was a tad bit much.
"Runic symbols, don't hold power, your mana and will hold power, a certain combination can create something beautifil—" Marc exclaimed as he waved his hand and different intricate symbols appeared in front of him, they wove into each other and burst from his palms into the air making a shower of snow fall to the ground. "Or something destructive." Roman added as he did the same thing as Marc but only this time there was no burst of snow flakes, fire erupted in small bursts all around them. "Wow." Vincent commented as he was mesmerized by the show.
"As witches we can use runic symbols, from Egyptian glyphs to Osirian symbols, it depends with your will and mana what runes you can weave together and activate for a certain spell, today we'll start with basics, because unlike Allen we aren't innately connected to that kind of magic, or spells, so we have to learn." Roman surmised as they all separated and began trying to create a spell based on runic magic, Thalia was the first one to create something, the woven runes had connected to her mana and before she knew it a dark stallion had appeared before her, its mane was like a storm ever moving in the wind just like its tail, at its hooves cloudy smoke emanated with bursts of lightning. "Thalia, you summoned the storm bringer." Allysa mumbled in absolute shock.
"Impressive Thalia, this gives you a bit more knowledge about your magic and what its rooted in." Roman commended as Vincent was up next, the hybrid had woven together runic symbols and glyphs, which he activated as they rotated in front of him, giant tentacles burst out from the middle of the of the circling runes, dark and powerful, more and more appeared and it took all Vincent's will to control them, the black runes turned red as they connected to the hybrid's will, this made Marc smirk, the boy was learning. "The kraken's rage, I'm impressed." Marc commented making Vincent cheer loudly. "Thank you!" He replied cheerfully as one of the tentacles attacked Thalia's stallion, two began a friendly match of dodge.
