"alright see you guys later!"

I really need to buy them dinner or something they always drive me around!

As I began to walk down the sidewalk my foot hits a book.

I wasn't paying attention so it caught me off guard!

I bent down and picked duo the book. It was a normal book. Something your find at the local library.

No noticable cover, I found somewhere to sit and opened the first page.

"Love, it's not strange. People may say it's strange but it's natural. Many people think it's strange because they have never experienced it or don't know much about it. People assume love has to have a deeper meaning, it can't be as simple as you think, right?"

I was never a reader, I could never find something I connected with, but this book-

3:34 pm was the time

OH SHIT IM GONNA BE LATE FOR THE TRAIN!

I frantically closed the book shoved it in my bag and made a mad dash for the station. Running so fast the sent of the local bakery still lingered at my nose.

I really should've gotten some food before I left. Too late now. If I keep this pace I should make it with time too spare.

3:45 pm

"Ugh...I...made....i-it.."
I couldn't recover my breathing, that was the fastest I had ran sense highschool!

I look around and find a chair to set my bag on, as I predicted I did have 5 minuets to spare.

While I was sitting in the chair trying to catch my breath I spotted a vending machine!

"Thank God"

While I was running towards the train station I could still vividly remember the warm smell of the bakery shop. Just thinking about the smell made my stomach have an uproar.

As I walked up to the vending machine I noticed there was a short line. Nothing big, so then I patiently waited for my turn.

Thankfully I could see over the people in front of me. While I waited in line I could decide what I wanted before it was my turn.

Oh wow they have alot of stuff!

This vending machine had drinks sandwiches and even burgers! Of course the machine also had typical chips and candy.

I ended up settling on a large Arizona green tea and a ham and cheese sandwich. The bread on the ham and cheese looked fresh and that bakery really made me crave homemade bread.

I was shocked at how much these measley snacks were, though if I wanted to eat the food the train provided it would've been way more expensive.

Thankfully eating and drinking your own snacks on the train was allowed.

3:50 pm

It was now time for everyone to board. I grabbed my tea and gently put the sandwich in my bag making special care to not crush the bread on the sandwich.

I stood in line with my ticket ready, I had already pre ordered the ticket so all I had to do was pull it up on my phone.

The man scanned the phone and then proceeded to move aside indicating I was welcome to ride the train.

I walked through the isle searching for a good seat to sit down in. I ended up choosing a seat by the window in the middle of the car.

Usually when I ride the train I would just play on my phone, scroll on Instagram, TikTok, respond to emails, But this time I had something different in store.
