Your eyes shoot open as you quickly sit up. It was another nightmare.

It felt like every time you tried to nod off and fall asleep all you could see was your dad's dead body.

Your eyes scan the room for Kei as you sat on the small couch in the corner. From what you knew you were still stuck in what seemed like a storm cellar.

You didn't even know how many hours had passed maybe even days since you didn't have any access to seeing when the sun went up and down.

Kei had a chain connected to the wall which he used to put a latch around your ankle keeping you from going too far.

You tug at the piece of metal as the sound of chains hitting together sounded through the room.

No matter how hard you tugged at it you knew it wasn't gonna break. At least not by you just pulling.

Especially because your whole body felt weak. Heavy and drained from the lack of sleep and the fact that you weren't putting in much of an effort anymore.

When you were awake, hours would pass but it felt like minutes for you.

He didn't even leave any snacks or anything for you to eat. Just scooted the couch over for you to sit on and cleaned up as much as your dads blood as he could which still left a stain on the floor.

Every now and then you eyes would flicker over to the stained spot on the floor processing that your dad was really gone and it wasn't a dream.

You couldn't even cry anymore. No matter how much you wanted to no more tears would fall.

Bringing your knees up, you drop your head between them and wrap your arms around yourself in an attempt to stay warm.

Slowly, you feel yourself dozing off again as your eyes fluttered closed.
