What if: Emperor Danny

Let's start off with a dark one....

we join a 23 year old Danny Brando climbing Mount Everest in search of the peaceful way to heaven.

this is as it is in the main timeline

all that transpires here in Nepal is as it should be

let's head back to Japan where the real conflict stems from.

all it took was a Villain to take one wrong turn during his fight to lead this universe to where it ended up.

the battle between heroes as villains would result in the destruction of a nearby building....

a building containing Danny's partner and two children who were visiting Joan Joestar

....

there were no survivors

after months in Nepal Danny returns only to find he wasn't there for his family

even Danny didn't know if over heaven could revive people and if it could How and if they'd even be the same.

overcome with guilt he declared "No more"

with his recently acquired powers he managed to catch the criminal and still somewhat heroic used Over heaven to rewrite his memories.

this worked so well it slowly became the norm for him

he'd force false lives upon every crook he found turning tax evaders into gardeners, murderers into crossing guards.

but where do you draw the line?

do you now rewrite the memories of petty thieves seeking only to provide for their families

or maybe jaywalkers and perhaps litterbugs?

Danny Brando did not have these lines

slowly he became a tyrant, going after corrupt officials and killing anyone who got in his way Villains... or heroes.

by the end Danny sat atop a throne built upon the corpses of those he called friend and foe the self proclaimed "High-Inquisitor of earth"

so you see.... even the purist of intentions can lead to damnation

"The way to hell is paved in good intentions." or should I say "Heaven"

also the author gave me a note
