Ichigo x Reader

Your POV

"Hey, (Y/N)!" a certain orange haired man yelled. "Come back. Rukia didn't mean any of that."

He was too late. You had already taken off towards your house. Since you lived alone, you didn't have to worry about someone freaking out at how late it was. Tears started to roll down your cheeks.

**Flashback**

"You don't deserve Ichigo, new girl!" Rukia spat at you. "I don't even know why he likes you."

"Rukia, that's not very nice," a concerned Orihime spoke softly, not wanting to get on her bad side.

"Well it's the truth. It's not my fault that Ichigo wants someone better, like me."

"Then why I'm I with (Y/N) and not you" Ichigo said looking at her.

"Oh please Ichigo. You even told me that you'd rather be with me than her." Rukia said pointing at you.

You've had enough of this and ran out of the Kurosaki household.

"Yeah, new girl run away from your problems because you know by tomorrow he'll be mine."

***End of Flashback***

I can't believe she'd say something like that. What's her problem? You thought as you ran into you house and straight to your bedroom.

As you curled up into a ball the front door creaked. Afraid of it being a stranger you grab the knife between the mattress and boxspring and stood by the door.

"(Y/N)" a soft voice you know all too well whispered.

Sighing, you went back to your bed and set the knife down. "What do you want Ichigo?"

"Oh, there you are" he said awkwardly. "I wanted to talk to you... about earlier"

"There's nothing to talk about. She's right. You'd rather be with her." You sniffled.

"No I wouldn't. Don't listen to her, she's just jealous because I'm yours and yours only."

"Wow Ichigo, I didn't think you had that in you." A smile started to form on your face.

He blushed. "Well it's the truth and I-I love you." He quickly turned his head to the side, suddenly interested at the wall.

You sat there shocked. Before you knew it, you were in front of him. Leaning against his chest. "I love you too." Ichigo then closed the gap between you two.
