Jerikas pov
"haha did we interrupt something?" I asked as they got in the car.
" no" they said angrily at the same time.
" we'll it sounds like we did" I said as we pulled out of the driveway.
" let's just get this over with" angle said while glaring at me.
" ok, but are you still scared?" I asked curiously.
" kinda, but not really anymore" she said while taking Alex's hand.
" that's good" I said as I lit a smoke and handed one to amber.
The rest of the drive was silent. Angle was texting someone in the back, I think it might of been cat . I haven't heard of her in a while, I wonder if they still talk.
" hey angle do you still talk to cat?" I asked looking back at her.
" sometimes why?" she asked putting her phone away.
" I just haven't heard from her in a while" I said as Alex raised an eyebrow at me.
" cat was angles crush before you came along" I said to her.
" but now I have you and need no one else " angle said kissing Alex.
" good or else I would have to pay this cat a little visit" she said jokingly.
" nah don't worry your the only girl for me" angle said as we pulled into Amber's drive.
" we'll here we are." amber said as she parked the car.
We got out and went into the game room were there was a huge tv. I looked at the clock and we still had 1 hour to kill before the meeting would be held.
I was surprised angle isn't worried anymore. Me and amber sat on the couch and let angle and Alex have the love seat.
We ended up watching family guy on Netflix until it was time for the meeting, then supper. When it was 5 we headed out back were the whole pack was waiting for us.
I stood on the right of amber while Alex stood on the left of her. Angle on the other hand was hiding behind Alex like a scared little girl.
I giggled when she peeked around Alex and looked at everyone who was staring at her curiously.
" everyone, I have called this meeting because my beta Alex has found her mate" amber announced to them.
" who is it?" a few asked after they all clapped.
" this is angle, jerikas sister. She is Alex's mate, she is human but is marked and will shift tomorrow we will have a party afterwards."
Alex turned to angle and whispered something in her ear before she got in front of Alex and waved shyly to the pack.
Everyone gave her warm smiles as they looked at her. After the introduction we had a barbecue so angle can get to know the pack.
Me and amber were with her parents while Alex and angle were in a group of people who were talking to angle.
" it's funny how both of us have shifter mates" I said as I ate my burger.
" ya it is but that's fate, you guys were meant to be together" Amber's dad said to me with a smile.
" ya I'm glad I get to spend my life with her" I said kissing amber.
" so her first shift is tomorrow?" Amber's mom asked.
" yup, she hasn't heated up to bad or anything yet" amber said looking at angle hide behind Alex.
" she will soon" she said as they left us to talk to some people.
" wanna go see how things are going with them?" I asked looking at Alex and angle.
" ya sure" amber said taking my hand.
Angle was actually talking to people instead of hiding. She look like she was enjoying herself.
" hey how's things going over here?" amber asked them.
" it's good angle is actually making friends here. And she knows a few girls from school" Alex said turning to us.
" that's good" I said as I looked at my little sis.
The rest of the meeting went like that. Angle getting to know people in the pack. By the end of it she started to get a little warm so we brang her back to Alex's house.
" call us if anything happens or if her shift happens ok?" I said to Alex as we got to her house.
" I will don't worry" she said and got out.
We waited untill they got inside before we left and decided to go to my house for the night since its closer than Amber's house.
My parents were actually home for once.
" hey mom" I said as I opened the door.
" hey sweety, oh Amber's with you. Where's angle?" she asked as she looked behind amber.
" oh she's at her friend Alex's house." I said as I led amber to my room.
Once we got into my room amber raised her eyebrow at me.
" what?" I asked.
" your mom doesn't know angle and Alex are dating?"
" no I'm waiting for angle to tell her" I said as I got undressed.
" oh why hasn't she?" she asked after she was undressed.
" I think she's scared of what they will think" I said as we laied in bed.
" really well I hope she tells them soon" she said before I snuggled into her.
I looked at the clock and it was 10pm already. I was kind of tired but once I heard Amber's breathing slow I knew she was asleep. I slowly drifted to sleep thinking about our trip after school was done.
