Leah's Pov
Everyone was sitting in the balcony enjoying the night breeze of the city.
"The breeze is sweet and refreshing today, right? " I asked. Everyone agreed.

I came And sat beside mom and put mu head on her shoulder. She patted my head and continued to talk. I felt a presence beside me. I glanced at without removing my head from her shoulders. It's Ron.

"You guys are both grown up now huh! Remember Julia when they used to fight over the toy that they found on the street. The monkey with rolling eyes. Haha " Mrs Miller said. I immediately straightened my posture and said, "that was my favorite toy but this ass- idiot here broke it while snatching it from me. " "You are so stubborn u could have taken another toy. " Ron added to his defense. "Y I found it 1st and I shall have it u did not have any right on it. " I said turning to him. He turned to me and said " Girls should play with dolls and not monkey toys. " Ron said making me boil. "Well well someone here is the world's biggest Sexist. " I said.

"I ain't a sexist, I am a sexy man. "

Ron's POV
That's when the entire quarrel began between us. Both trying to justify themselves. I love bickering with her.
"Okayyyy RON AND LEAH.... ENOUGH BOTH OF YOU. " dad shouted.
Leah tries to catch her breath after the long gibberish quarrel. I offered her a glass of water. She drank the whole in a chunk.
"You guys did schooling together, high school together, your graduations together, ur majors, ur degrees and you guys started ur own start-up together which is know a very well furnished business today. You guys r no kids u are business partners and work mates and what not might people call you. And here look at u the CEO & CSO of a multinational competition fighting like cats and dogs. U guys r not just any normal frnds. You are CHILDHOOD SWEETHEART'S . " said Mr. Rivera.

Leah was clearly ashamed I could see her in her eyes. It's after long I am seeing her getting scolded for something. She was a perfect child a parent would want. "Sorry dad sorry mom and my sincere apologies to you uncle and aunt. It was foolish of us." Leah said and got up and left. I apologized too and followed her.

She sat in her car and left before I was able to say something. I followed her car but I lost it in some time. I tried to track her no. But it was taking time.

Back at house
"Weren't you a bit harsh honey. " Mrs. Rivera said. "If I hadn't been rude rn both of them would not be together rn... Haha" Mr Rivera said amusingly.
Every body bursted and started laughing. "Common cheers!! " "Cheers!! 🥂🥂" All said in a unison.
"I really hope we soon become a family.. " Said Mrs. Rivera. " I want to be Leah's mother in law. " Exclaimed Mrs. Miller.
