My mom came home and I had just started on my homework. She told me that if I didn't get my grades up she would take away my NerveGear. I tried to get my homework done, and after a painful 3 hours, I did. I went to sleep and thought about SAO all night.
When I got up the next morning, I didn't want to go to school, because I felt sick. I told my mom and she let me stay home. I put on the NerveGear, and when I got into the world, there were so many people in the Town of Beginnings, 10,000 to be exact. I tried to get out of the town, and after I did, I went to a small field to go on a quest. I completed the quest and I leveled up to level 50, and got 1,000 col. I wanted to log off real quick to get food, so I went to the player menu. No log out button. I didn't know what to do so I just stood there. I thought about my real life, about my mom, and dad, and my sister. When I had scored a spot in the beta test, I had no idea Kyaba would do this. I also unlocked a unique skill, called dual wielding. I had two heavy black swords, but they were thin, which is what I liked about them. All of the sudden, I saw blue light all around me and I wasn't in the field anymore, I was in the center of the town. Error messages filled the sky and red liquid started pouring out from in between them. It formed a giant person who was the GM, Akihiko Kyaba. He told us that it was not a bug that he didn't add the log out button, he meant for it to not be there. Also, he said that if you died in the game, you died in real life too. He told us that if anyone in the real world tried to take of the NerveGear, tiny microwaves would shock our brains and kill us.
He was about to leave, but he said he had left us a surprise in our item storage. I looked in there, and I saw a mirror. I took it out, and I wondered what it was for, but then I was engulfed in blue light. After it disappeared I looked in the mirror again and I looked like my real self. Brown hair, blue eyes. I looked around and everyone else looked different too.
