Lights, Camera, Action

With your nose stuffed between the pages of your book, you hadn't even noticed when Taehyun had decided to plop himself down beside you.

Beomgyu, however, did notice - he noticed the way the boy's popular smile landed on you. With your shoulders slightly scrunched, your eyebrows doing the same as you continued reading, even with the boy - who was considered by the girls in your school to have the most boyfriend potential - leaning to read over your shoulder.

You barely looked up as you pressed your palm flat on Taehyun's forehead shoving him back into his seat. The boy laughed, as you tossed your dog-eared book into your bag.

"Why do you seem so happy?" you asked, turning to face the grinning boy. Beomgyu's breath hitched as the morning sun peeked through the clouds to lay itself over your shoulder. "Don't you know it's Monday morning, you're obligated to be sad."

"Y/n, have you ever thought of going on antidepressants?"

You shrugged, an easy smile settling atop your lips. "And get rid of all these fun thoughts? Never."

Your voice was lighthearted, the banter coming easy to you. The bantering that always left Beomgyu laughing too loudly, or stumbling to get his joke out before losing the moment, or in one very embarrassing, lay awake and think of this moment forever; he had shot a nice amount of spit out - immediatly clamping his mouth shut hoping you hadn't noticed. Every conversation ended with his cheeks aflame and the voice in his head going over every one of his movements and retracing every word and expression you'd made.

How did you make him so tongue tied?

The sun also wasn't in agreement with your obligated sad vibe Mondays. It was peeking out shyly, letting you soak up it's golden rays. You were turned towards Taehyun smiling at something he was saying - how was he able to just say words? And have them make sense?

Without realizing it Beomgyu steadied his camera on the desk. He didn't even realize he'd pulled it out from his bags.  He tilted his chin down looking casually through the screen, lining up the shot to encompass you and Taehyun bathed in the golden morning light. As the camera shuttered a grin bloomed over your features and Taehyun tossed his head back.

Beomgyu was quick to shove his camera into his bag as Yeonjun settled down beside him, sunglasses covering his always glaring eyes. As a senior it was his job to look perpetually pissed.

"Morning." Beomgyu sang out, as Yeonjun slapped his forehead onto the desk tossing his hands over his ears.

A grumble of what was most likely inappropriate words slipped from Yeonjun's huddled figure. Beomgyu's grin grew, a breathless laugh escaping him. "If you'd graduated you wouldn't be having to deal with this stuff."

Yeonjun mumbled something along the lines of shut up you little ...

"But you just couldn't leave your best friend behind could you." Beomgyu leant over ruffling Yeonjun's coral hair.

A paper was placed in front of Beomgyu a thank you catching in his throat as he stares up at you - the person who'd placed the paper on his desk. "How thoughtful." you said, smiling easily at Beomgyu.

His smile caught on his lips, a blush already blooming and creeping onto his cheeks. "I - uh, that's Yeonjun for you."

You raise an eyebrow and nod the smile still playing across your lips, before slipping a paper under Yeonjun's crossed arms. Yeonjun groaned out a thank you and Beomgyu wished he had his camera out now to capture the laugh that flew from your lips and seemed to dance to his ears. And with a final your welcome you walked back towards your seat handing the teacher the remaining papers.

Taehyun nudged your shoulder as you sat and Beomgyu swore he saw Taehyun's head nod in his direction.

This sent Beomgyu spiralling and tracing over the past few minutes where you were before him, listening to him spew forth whatever came to mind - just trying to see you smile.

He slammed his forehead onto the desk, him and Yeonjun mirror images of hunched over figures groaning at the back of the class.
