Cory - 12 years old

After our little pizza party, us Caring Angels all said goodbye to each other. Telling each other that we would still talk in our group chat.

Right now my family, Lucinda, and her mom we're walking to daddy's car with our stuff. Lucinda is staying over at my house. We were all just talking to each other having a good time when all of a sudden we saw Abby Lee Miller come up to us.

"Hello girls, is it okay if I talk to your parents for a couple of minutes?" She asked with a small smile on her face. I already had a feeling of uneasiness when she smiled. Our parents were about to say no before I told them to go and that we would wait for them by the car.

My daddy had a look of worry on his face. "Are you sure? I don't want anything bad happening to you or Lucinda." He asked, looking at us carefully.

I understand completely what he meant, it's night time and you never know what might happen. "Don't worry Mr. Jungsoo! I have my pepper spray in case anything happens, " LuLu assured him and he nodded telling us to hurry to the car.

"Last one there is a rotten egg LuLu!" I shouted, already running to the car.

"Not if I get there first Coco!" She shouted back as she tried catching up to me. Key word tried.

We all watch as Cory and Lucinda start chasing each other to the car. I could hear Lucinda's mom, Jennifer, giggle a little bit and me and Tai couldn't help but join in.

"So what is it you wanted to talk about Ms. Miller?" Kai asked, looking at her up and down but Abby didn't seem to notice.

"You can just call me Abby and I sadly heard that your girl's studio is closing, " She said with sympathy in her tone. Jennifer looked sad at the mention of it.

"Yeah, it's a shame, our girls grew up there. Have so many memories there. It's just depressing." I replied to her.

"Yes it is, so are any of your girls doing anything for the rest of summer break? Because if not I have an offer I could give to them." Abby offered quickly showing a slight sympathetic look in her eyes leaving.

"Well me and Lucinda are gonna have to move because of her father's job," Jennifer spoke with a pessimistic look in her eyes. Tai look at her with shock on her face, "Really? Did you tell Lucinda?" She questioned Jennifer.

"Yes but I don't think she's told Cory yet. But it's only for a short while, will be back in LA by March next year." After we said that myself, Kai, and Tai sighed in relief.

After having the news we just heard set in Kai spoke first, "Cory is not doing anything over the rest of the summer break. We are celebrating her birthday tomorrow though." he answered Abby having his usual cold look on his face. You could actually see a glimpse scared look on Abby's face but it disappeared before you could truly tell.

"About that offer though, I was thinking of personally offering your girls on the ALDC dance team." We were all a little shocked because of what Abby said. This is a big deal for our girls. "I could have Cory join the team for our next season arriving in January and have Lucinda join when you come back, " she continued.

"I see no problem with that. What about you guys?" Tai asked with her cute smile. Us parents agreed with the offer and Abby gave us her phone number so we can talk more about it. When Abby left we started to head back to the car.

"I hope we're doing the right thing here, " Jennifer said with a nervous laugh.

"I'm sure, we believe in our girls, they can do it. They are talented enough as it is and this could branch them out even further, " Kai said with a look of determination on his face and I couldn't help but laugh.

Before their parents came back

Me and LuLu just got to the car and we are just waiting for our parents to come back. LuLu kept looking down at her feet with a upset look.

Out of our whole friendship I know she does that when she's keeping a secret from me or she thinking about something. "LuLu, what's the matter?" I asked her wrapped my arms around her in a hug. She looked at me with a sad look in her eyes before saying, "Look, I have some bad and good news," She smiled slightly and I nodded my head for her to continue.

"When my dad called me he said that we're gonna be moving in three days and not coming back till March! I'm gonna miss you so much, Coco!" Lucinda wailed crying in my arms.

I stood there while she cried trying not to cry myself. "It's gonna be okay LuLu, will text and video chat every day. Promise me?" I asked her holding up my pinkie for a pinky swear. She nodded her head and did the same, are pinkies connected. We then connected our thumbs.    

You're probably wondering why we are being so dramatic over this. Well, it's because we've been friends for so long I've gotten used to my LuLu. I can't imagine being without her.

While we were crying our parents were coming back for talking with Ms.Abby

"Girls, what's wrong?" My mom ( Tai ) asked, worried, filling her voice.

"LuLu told me that she's moving!" I shouted running into my mom's arms crying.

"Aww, it's gonna be okay, princess. She'll be back soon," Daddy assured me but I was still crying. After we calm down we all got in the car, LuLu and I put our stuff in our truck.

Lulu's mom told her she'd pick her up tomorrow and got in her car and drove off.
