chapter 1
(this is my first time writing if u have comments pls tell)
It was a regular day at the Granger's house, we were eating breakfast when an owl swooped in and dropped a letter on the table.
"What's this?" I asked my parents.
"Remember when mom and dad told us grandma was a witch?" Hermione asked.
"Yeah? What does that have to do with it?"
"Well," Hermione hummed, "Didn't grandma's witch genes mean we would have it as well."
"Ohh, now I understand."
"Well go on opening it," mom said as I slowly opened it and read it.
HOGWARTS SCHOOL OF WIZARDRY AND WITCHCRAFT
(order of merlin, first class, grand sorc, chf, warlock)
Dear Ms Granger,
You have been accepted at Hogwarts school of wizardry and witchcraft. Please find an enclosed list of books and equipment. There is also a ticket for a train along with the letter.
The term begins September 1

Hermione flipped over the page before I could ask a million of questions I had.
HOGWARTS SCHOOL OF WIZARDRY AND WITCHCRAFT UNIFORM
First year students will require
1. Three sets of plain work robes(black)
2. One plain pointed hat (black) for daily wear
3. One pair of protective gloves(dragon hide or similar)
4. One winter cloak(black, with silver fastenings)
Please note that all pupil's clothes should carry name tags.

1 wand
1 cauldron (pewter, standard size 2)
1 set glass or crystal phials
1 telescope
1 set brass scales
Students may also bring an owl or a cat or a toad.
PARENTS ARE REMINDED THAT FIRST YEARS ARE NOT ALLOWED THEIR OWN BROOMSTICK
Hermione finished reading the letter and set it down, looking very excited as we both wanted to go.
"This is a dream come true!". Mom looked at us and raised an eyebrow to see if we wanted to go.
I had a million ideas and questions but Hermione stopped and answered all my questions before I said anything. After explaining everything I just stood there with my opened mouth wondering how she knew what I was going to say.
Before we could say anything mum suggested we go out and play with our friends but in one condition.
Mum said, "You can't tell anyone about Hogwarts, do you understand?"
"Yes mum." We both chroused. When night came and we finished eating, we all cleaned up and then went to bed.
The next morning was already the 31st of August and tomorrow was the day we were going to Hogwarts, we were so excited that we couldn't sleep. Hermione being the bookworm said she stayed up and read all about Hogwarts to learn about so she knows everything, as for me I fell asleep.
The Next Day
"I'M SO EXCITED WHAT ABOUT YOU?" I shouted.
"Calm down." Mom said. "You should save all the energy for when you actually reach there."
I sat down, calming down slightly. We checked the ticket and it said to go to kings cross station. When we did the ticket said, platform 9 ¾.
"Mom?" I called out in confusion. "Is there a platform 9 3/4?" She looked at me surprised.
"Whatever do you mean?" she asked
