La llorona

You hear her cry “aye mis hijos”
But you can’t go out.
Cause if you do she will take you and strangle you in the water.
To find her missing son’s souls that she submerged into the water and lost in the river.
Legends say that if you ever hear a woman cry in the middle of the night, Lock your
doors and keep your children out of the water for then she will be there for your
offspring.
