It was done.

Sapnap was crowned king again of Kinoko kingdom. Sapnap was gonna crown the 2 guys who helped him get back his kingdom, which was Dream and Karl, but Dream refused.

"No need for crowning me, Sapnap." Dream stopped. "I'm fine living in a village, as long as I'm with George. I'm sorry." He apologized.

Sapnap responded with a smile. "No need to apologize, Dream. But you have to let me help you, even for the slightest bit so I can return the favor."

Dream shook his head, still saying no.

"A thank you is enough, I'm content with that."

Sapnap rushed forward to hug Dream.

"Thank you so much for helping me get back Kinoko kingdom, Dream." Sapnap thanked as a tear drop down his eye. This was the only thing he had left of his family, he was happy to get it back.

"No problem, Sapnap." Dream said as he patted his back repeatedly.

Dream let go of the hug and bowed. Dream walked away leaving Sapnap and Karl in the throne room.

"BYE DREAM!!" Sapnap waved.

Dream turned around and waved.

Dream went to go back to his house, finally, finally everything ended. The former king got arrested in a high-security prison, Sapnap hired a few guards, the kingdom was back on track.

Dream, somehow refused to live a royal life, even if it was Sapnap. He wanted to live a normal life with George, which was all he ever wanted, and now got.

"George~~! I'm home!" Dream yelled as he close the door.

"George?"

Dream looked around and didn't find George. He noticed a note on the counter saying:

"Meet me at the hill, see you there :)
- George"

Dream wondered why George wanted to meet him at the hill, but he went there anyway.

"George? George? Hello??" Dream climbed on the hill, seeing George sitting on the edge, staring at the sunset.

"George!" Dream ran to George and gave him a hug. George hugged him back as Dream sat beside him.

"Oh and Dream— since you brought me flowers last time I uh–

I-I brought you some earlier.." George handed the dandelions to Dream, all flustered. "I don't know if those are green, but that's fine."

Dream accepted the flowers, slightly laughing because he gave him yellow flowers. But it was sweet, he was fine with it. George tried to give Dream green ones, but gave him yellow instead because he couldn't tell the difference.

"Thank you George." Dream thanked. "Why are we here by the way?" he asked as he stared at the sunset.

"Well.. This was where we had our first date, remember?" George recalled.

"Oh yeah.."

"Those we're the times where we we're hiding from them, people who'll judge us. And people who'll try to seperate us. But now—" George reached for Dream's hand, pulling it near his face.

"There's nothing stopping us now, Dream. We're free, we don't have to hide anymore." he said.

A smile appeared on Dream's face. It was true, it felt like a dream. It didn't feel real, not to mention the happiness he felt was too good to be real. He even pinched himself, but even if it was a dream, he never wanted to wake up. If it was a dream, he's probably laying in bed in the real world, with people thinking he's dead. But he wanted to stay that way. It felt like the end, the end of a story.

"I guess some stories do have happy endings.." Dream mumbled.

"What did you say?" George asked.

"Nothing."

The two stared at the sunset, and sat in silence. They watched the sun get replaced by the moon, as the cold breeze passed by.
