Atropos was out one day as Zeus had called for her. And because no matter how hard she tried to bury her curiosity, it keeps resurfacing.

"Who is this 'Marcus', sister?" She asked, her fingers pulling desperately on the dark leather-like thread of Marcus's life.

"I told you. Aphrodite and Ares's son. But Ares does not know of his existence for Aphrodite chose to hide his existence within the humans." Clotho said, not looking up from her own weaving, as if she was avoiding further questions she knows she can't not answer.

"Well. I don't see the need to keep him veiled from us." Lachesis huffed to herself as she stared down at the thread. She wonders if the man was a danger to mankind. And if he was, shouldn't Zeus warn them, at least? After all, they weave precious lives together.

For a man to just ruin the Fates' work is a taboo.

Lachesis was pulled out from her thoughts when Atropos came back to her own seat and picked back up the thread. Her eyes were tinged red as well as her nose. Clotho paid her no mind, her whole body crouched in on her chair as she continues her weaving quietly.

"Are you alright, sister?" Lachesis decided to ask after she heard Atropos's sniffles quiet down into heavy breathing.

"I am quite alright, thank you Lachesis." All was quiet after as their was a hidden warning to Atropos's tone. It was as if she is hiding something from both Clotho and her.

But Clotho seemed unbothered by this secret. Now she wonders more. Why would Zeus call for just Atropos? Zeus always calls on all three of them. Today was the first time that it was just Atropos.

Lachesis did try to reason with herself that Atropos is the eldest out of all of them. It was Atropos who first stood up for the sake of mankind. She was the first Fate that was gracious enough to take the reigns off of Zeus's hands with the lives of humans. She and Clotho came after Zeus has noticed how Atropos is starting to fail. Now as the Fates - Atropos, Clothos, and Lachesis - entwine the past, present, and future of mankind. Lives woven while inside the confinements of the gray walls of their so-called home.

Finally looking up, Atropos took a deep breath in before, "Sister Lachesis, may I talk to you?"
