the classroom was already bustling with mindless chatters, however the conversation about what happened the night before and how awesome zack was when he threw punches was more distinguishable than any other conversation there is.

"stop it. you think i'm proud of hitting that pig?" was what zack said, but in reality, he reveled in all the praises he received. he liked being placed in a pedestal. it gave him a sense of superiority, it's also a great way to show off his strength on the newbie.

daniel walked in on them talking about him, so much for peace. he didn't like it one bit, but he has to put up with it, he has to. they don't about him being the same guy they beat up last night, he's gonna have to suck it up.

"i'd show you the photo, but hera already deleted it."

hera? the female that stood up for him last night was hera? that's the first time daniel ever heard of her name, god, even her name is that of a goddess.

'so she did see my willy...'

speaking of the devil, the aforementioned black haired female strode in the classroom. her hands tucked neatly inside her coat's pockets as she donned a blank look. as if on cue, everyone came to a halt as they watched her saunter to her seat, where a blond guy ruffled her head in greeting.

everyone would've wanted to say their greetings as well, compliment her, tell her that she looked as stunning as ever. but, she intimidated them in more ways than one. they don't know if it's her beauty, her intelligence, her social status, or her, but she intimidated them into stunned silence.

daniel's eyes followed her form until she was seated in her respective seat. he watched the blond interact with her, he even caught her pouting as she patted her hair back to the way it was before being ruffled. the mere interaction she had with her seat mate made him want to be friends with her.

on the other hand, a pretty brown-haired girl in braids was beyond annoyed at the fact that the guy who basked in compliments about how good his punches were was always getting into fights.

"a while ago, he invited me to a movie, but he got in a fight in the street again!" the beautiful female said, tucking a stray hair behind her ear as she silently fumed to herself.

she can't stress enough how much she hated it when he always got involved in fights. they can't even go to the movies in peace! she doesn't like violence, i mean, who does, right?

"enough. as a boxer, i'm not proud of using a straight punch to leave him groggy. i should've thrown a jab."

"wow. what a pro."

zack carried on boasting, a distorted memory of mira swooning over him and daniel being scared out of his wits played in his mind. it was such an ego booster, he can't get enough of being in the spotlight.

daniel, oh boy, was he sweating profusely. why is it that the universe always seemed to be against him? first, he got a beating from a guy while he was strolling through the streets. then, that same guy turned out to be a classmate of his, who he happens to be seat mates with. of all people, it just had to be him. great, what fun! note sarcasm.

two girls strode up to daniel, snapping him out of his a anxiety-filled train of thoughts. they asked whether he had a girlfriend or not, much to his confusion. this interaction hadn't gone unnoticed by the one and only, zoe, who immediately asked the male to hang out with her. much to the other females' annoyance.

"she works hard hehe."

"no one can stop her lol."

"hehe."
