Mashiho's pov

"Alright mom, bye-bye," I said and ended the phone
call

"I'm fucking late for class" I muttered speed walking to my faculty

I got into the lecture hall and saw that it was full

'What the-...I'm only twelve minutes late, did they come by six?'

The lecturer ignored my presence and continued his lectures

I scanned the crowd and spotted Jeongwoo, I waved at him and he smiled patting the seat beside him

I ran up the Lecture hall to sit beside Jeongwoo

"Insomnia?" he asked

"You know it" I replied and opened my bag to get my notebook but I stopped when Jeongwoo placed a book in front of me

"Hm? Who's own?" I asked

"I copied some notes for you, continue from where I stopped before the lecturer gets ahead" he said

"You're a sweetheart Jeongwoo-ah~" I said clinging to his arm

"Aishh shut up Mashi, just copy the notes" he said and flicked my head making my leave him alone

Classes were really tight today, after a lecture leaves, another would get right in not sparing us a chance

Lectures ended in the evening, from 7 am to 6 pm

We left our lecture hall and clashed paths with Asahi who also finished minutes ago at his faculty

We decided to go eat something

"Mashi!" We heard someone call my name

We turned and saw Hyunsuk hyung waving at us, we ran to him and hugged him, that's how close we were

"Did you guys miss me that much?" Hyunsuk hyung jokingly asked

"As much as I hate to say it but yes" Asahi said making Hyunsuk hyung chuckle

"I forgot to give you guys something..." he said and opened his bag

"I baked brownies for you all, I can't seem to get through to Doyoung and Junghwan, you guys can give theirs to them when next you see them" Hyung said and gave us a huge bag

"Wow it's heavy hyung" Jeongwoo commented

"Oh right, I also added some cookies and some leftover red velvet cake I baked" he said

"Woah hyung you're awesome" Asahi said and hyung smiled and then ruffled his hair

"You guys should drop by at my place...wait or even better, let's have a sleepover, there'll be pillow fights, we can bake more, we can watch My little Pony" Hyung said

"But hyung...isn't that what girls do?" Jeongwoo asked

"They don't have to know" Hyung said making us giggle in excitement

"But hyung, we're not with our pyjamas" I said and others agreed with me

"You can wear mine, come on let's go" Hyunsuk said as we linked arms and jokingly marched towards his car

We arrived at his house

"Hyung...you live alone?" I asked as we entered his luxurious house

"Mhm, my parents and brothers are abroad" he said

"Let me show you to my room then you guys can shower and change" he said and we followed him upstairs

His room was really big but not as big as that meanie– Ugh why am I thinking about that meanie?

"Here, you can select the ones you want to wear" he said as he led us to his insane closet

"Thanks hyung" Jeongwoo said and started exploring the closet

I picked out the one I thought I liked

The others were still looking for the ones they liked so I went to his room to talk with hyung

"Mashiho, this one suits you" he said about the pyjamas

"Thanks hyung" I said and sat beside him

"Actually hyung, I've been wanting to ask you something" I said

"Go on"

"Uhm...why do you hate Jihoon hyung...and who's Chanhee?" I slowly asked

"Well you need to know before you become like Chanhee" Hyung said and faced me very well

"You see, Chanhee was my best friend, we were in fact friends with Jihoon until Chanhee started to catch feelings for Jihoon, Jihoon knew Chanhee had feelings for him and then started to use him

He would make Chanhee do things for him, Chanhee really didn't have time for himself, even when he fell sick, Jihoon never came to visit him instead he kept give Chanhee tasks to do despite his condition

And Chanhee blinded by love couldn't see that Jihoon was just playing with his feelings, students said Haruto was the playboy but to me Jihoon is, he uses people for his own benefit after he's blinded them with the good-boy attitude

Chanhee decided to confess his feelings for Jihoon one day, but he decided to confess in the school cafeteria, Jihoon was seated with Junkyu and Haruto, he went to him and told him about his feelings and everyone hearing his confession kept quiet waiting for Jihoon's response

Jihoon stood up and told him that he never thought of Chanhee in that manner and Chanhee wasn't really his type, Chanhee out of heartbreak ran away from the cafeteria and ever since that day, Students began to make fun of Chanhee

They began to bully him, calling him all sorts of name, Chanhee being the weak boy he was always ran to me crying, Jihoon would see what others were doing to his friend but he didn't stand up for him

This went on for a long time until one day, everything ended...but in the worse way, my class ended and I came out and started heading towards Chanhee's faculty, I paused my step when a figure fell to the ground from up

I saw Chanhee on the floor lifeless, blood gushing out of his body, I looked up and saw Jihoon there, once he saw me, he ran away

Chanhee was taken to the hospital...but it was too late, he already died before he arrived there

I lost my best friend that day, Jihoon didn't even attend his funeral, he was so heartless

After his death, everyone lives their lives like nothing happened, Jihoon still had the guts to smile and live a care free life after what he did to Chanhee

The school didn't investigate the matter because he got in by scholarship so they really didn't value him

I really hate Jihoon for what he did, he didn't even feel bad rather he denied everything" Hyung said and wiped his tears, he then held my hands

"Mashi, I also don't want to lose you the way I lost Chanhee, I couldn't protect Chanhee well and each day I live, I feel guilty knowing I get to breath while Chanhee doesn't, Protecting you from Jihoon will help show Chanhee that I don't want someone to end like him, so please Mashiho, cut ties with Jihoon

He'll hurt you, I don't to lose you too" he said and hugged me tight, I returned the hug

'Why would Jihoon hyung do something like that but he doesn't seem to be someone who can do that...I have to confront Jihoon hyung'
