Second Pov.
"I'm afraid we're dealing with something even more sinister and untrustworthy than a politician. If there is such a thing." Velma answered. "Say, Muriel, I've got one for you. When is a mayor not a mayor?" she points.
"I...I don't think I know that one." your mother question. "Then let me show you." she opened the mayor's stomach which was a robot of him and inside were Katz and Le Quack cramped in together.
Everyone all gasps at the identity of the two villains. "And they are?" Daphne question. "Yeah, like, who are these weird dudes?" Shaggy also question.
"It's Katz and Le Quack." you answered. Everyone looks at each other trying to recollect. "Remember?" Velma tries to let them recall in the museum. "From the museum display." you deadpanned at them as they all began to remember.
You felt something hid behind your legs and look over to see Courage hiding behind you, peeking at the two old enemies.
"They were operating the mayor costume, and they were the real villains behind all of this." looking back to listen as Velma figured the two.
"I'm Katz, mastermind and evil genius." Katz introduces himself. "And I am Le Quack, world renowned thief of the most highest skill." Le Quack induct.
"I had my suspicions, but to be honest, a lot of clues don't make sense." you acknowledged as you and Katz made eye contact before looking away.
"If you would allow me to explain how it all happened, it would be my greatest of pleasures." he replied, looking up at you.
"When I, Katz, discovered--"
"No, no, no. When I, Le Quack, discovered --"
Katz sighed, how he couldn't get to impress you. "When we discovered that there was a dark matter mentor of intense power, buried somewhere here under Nowhere, we joined forces and worked to get ourselves elected as the mayor." Katz rambled on.
"This gave us the access to order the records of the town." Lea Quack responded.
"Allowing us to locate the right spot to dig. The power of the dark matter meteor has been affecting everything in Nowhere for millions of years." Katz continued.
"Oui, oui. And it is the exact center of a map of documented weirdness that only seemed to affect Nowhere. It is all because of the meteor." Le Quack pointed at Courage as he turn around so they won't get the meteor.
