You walk through Liberty Park again just to relax and read (f/b) in this nice weather. While walking to find a nice place to sit, you saw a bench next to a bridge with a nice shade and sunlight. 'This seems nice.' You thought while heading there.
When you sat down and slumped your shoulders to lean back, you take a deep breath. Once you settle down and open your book to read where you were left off, you also bought some peanuts when you were entering the park in case you get hungry. You kept your eyes on the book until you heard a squeak.
You look down and saw a purple squirrel looking at the peanuts, wanting to take it. Since you're a big animal lover you decide to give some peanuts to the squirrel. The squirrel was surprised you gave some to him, no one really offer foods to the animals in the park. The squirrel look up at the beautiful young adult, who offered food to him, and he saw that they were bright and their smile was so captivating. 'Woah' the squirrel thought, still admiring the kind human.
"Here you are, you must be hungry aren't you?" The (h/c) haired adult said. The squirrel snaps out of its daze and nods slowly, picking up the nuts and then running away. You couldn't swear you saw pink on the squirrel cheeks, 'Huh. Strange?' You shrugged it off and go back reading until you hear two squeaks.
You looked down and saw the same squirrel but with a friend you supposed, it was a light greenish blue rat but you love rats. "Oh hello, you brought a friend, huh?" You ask the squirrel. They both nod at the same time, making you chuckle. You gave some nuts to the rat which beam in return, and thought that was adorable cause these little guys are just cute. The rat looks at you and smile which you thought was a thank you.
"No problem, hope that's enough I might bring more if I ever come back." You said which surprised the two animals but smile and nod. You smile and reach your finger out on top of their heads to wait permission to pet them, which they reach for your touch that you could. When you were done petting them you pick up your belongings and wave goodbye to them in return they wave back but the rat waves happily.
"Ahh, she seems nice. We even got ourselves some nuts, Buddy! Y'know, she not bad." Surly said while Buddy nod happily carrying the nuts in his arm and running back to what they were doing. They can't wait to see you again.
