His body is so close to mine, I can barely stand it. He makes me want to slap him every time he opens his mouth and words come out. Is it bad I want him to have his fun with me? Just a little bit. Shaking my head, I get those ideas out of my mind. I cannot, nor will I think of him in such a manner.

"You will never have any type of fun with me." I exclaim.

He laughs against my neck, "oh baby girl, sometime very soon, we are going to have all kinds of fun together." When he lifts his face, I can see the mischief held in his eyes.

"Don't worry baby girl, I'm going to let you go unscathed today, when I strike you won't be expecting it." With those parting words he gives me another barely there kiss against my lips and walks away from me.

"What the hell does that mean?" I shout at his back. He says nothing, doesn't even give me a sign that he heard me. What an asshole! I think to myself.

Putting Asshole King to the back of my mind, I gather my things where I left them at the table. I run out of the library, and to the front of the building. I'm sure Grandma Bee is waiting for me already. Once I reach the doors to the front of the building, I get the distinct feeling someone is watching me. Looking left and right, I look to see if anyone is there. Besides the other students filing out the front of the building, to reach their buses, rides home, or begin walking home I see no one in particular. Shrugging my shoulders, I open the door, and instantly see Grandma Bees jeep in one of the parking spots on the side.

A smile makes its way onto my lips. This day is finally over, thank goodness. I don't think I could manage anymore run ins with Asshole King. Walking over to the jeep, I reach out for the door handle, just to have another arm shoot out from behind me to open it for me.

I don't need to turn around to know who's pretending to be a gentleman and holding the door open for me. "Thank you," I grumble at him as I scootch into the passenger seat. As I buckle myself in, I can see grandma bee out of the corner of my eye. Her eyes have that familiar sparkle in them when she's laughing at me.

"Who is your handsome friend sugar pie?" She asks.

It takes all my self-control not to roll my eyes, "Gram this is Declan King." I motion my hand in his direction.

"Declan this is my Grandma Bee." I say with more pride in my voice.

"Oh, of course. Eric's grandson." She beams up at him.

"Yes ma'am." He gives her a nod and shoots her that overconfident grin of his.

"I am remarkably close with your grandfather. He's always talking about you whenever I see him. It's a pleasure to finally meet you." She smiles.

I am trying hard not to growl in frustration. Something tells me grams will think I'm being rude if I do. If she wouldn't give me a lecture about it the entire ride home, I would.

"Yes, well we really should be going. I have a lot to do." I emphasize.

Grandma moves her eyes my way. Looking at me with her brows lowered in confusion. Nothing gets by Declan; he knows exactly what I am doing. "Of course, I just wanted to tell you don't forget what I said." When my eyes shoot his way, he winks at me.

He closes my door and taps the hood of grams jeep. I watch as he walks away, joining the group of young men I have seen him spending time with all day today. "What do you have to do?" Grams asks me as she puts the jeep in reverse and backs out of the parking spot.

Once we hit the main road and away from prying eyes that are still held in the parking lot I turn to her, "Nothing really I just needed air to breath." I slide my body down in the seat and lay my head back. My eyes shut and I enjoy the peace and quiet for a moment.

"Well, I think you can try to get all the air you want. I know the Kings. All too well," she states, not moving her eyes away from the road.

"What are you saying?" I crack an eye open to look at her.

She turns her face my way once we hit a stop light. "I'm saying sugar pie that you're in a whole heaping pile of trouble." She has a smirk along one side of her mouth.

"How am I in so much trouble in one day?" I grumble under my breath in annoyance.

She laughs out right, "well I cannot say I'm surprised." I look at her, and she continues, "the Kings have always had a thing for the women in our family. The reason you're in trouble is Declan, from what I hear he always gets what he wants. He makes it his mission to achieve all his goals, and if he is putting that much effort into seeking you out in just one day." She takes a deep breath.

The suspense of what she's going to say is killing me, "What grams? What are you trying to say?" I practically beg for her to tell me.

"What I'm telling you is hold on sugar pie because you are in for one hell of a ride. That young man has it bad for you. I see it in the way he looks at you. He's not going to stop until he has you." She smiles, placing all her focus on the road.

When we make it into our driveway, she turns the jeep off and faces her body my way. "And sweetheart," she places her hand over top of mine. "I have a feeling that once he has you, he won't let you go." She gives me a smile and opens her door.

Once she's out of the jeep I stay sitting there a moment. To think about what she just said to me. Processing her words, I think grams is right. I am in deep trouble.
