It had been a long day for Rory, between classes and homework etc, she was also wrestling with Her emotions, and that kiss. As the final bell of the school day rang Rory couldn't help her self, she quickly gathered her things thanked her teacher and Briskly walked to her locker. Her books hanging halfway out her bag she slammed her locker a little bit of pint up rage cam out. When she looked to see if anyone saw he was just standing there.
"wow Mary didn't know you had it in you''
Tristan said with a smirk on his face. When she looked at him she felt self her starting to cooling down.
"Sorry I am just frustrated and confused and angry"
"well maybe I can be of some help"
He said grinning as he pulled 2 concert tickets out from his pocket.
"So who is the lucky girl, is she someone like we talked about"
Rory was genuinely interested after all she thought they had called it quits and were going to be friends.
"Actually I was hoping you could help with that"
"I am not asking your date out for you Tristan"
She quickly snapped back.
"No Mary, I was wanting to take you"
"Tri-"
She was rudely cut off
"Now listen for just one second before you answer they are for DJ Harvey this Saturday and I don't want an answer til Wednesday"
"Tristan where is this coming from, I mean you antagonized me from day one, I thought you like hated me then I thought we had called it friends now you are asking me out. I guess I don't know what to think"
She was even more confused now and slightly out of breath.
"'Rory did you really think I hated you?"
She couldn't respond she was sure it was the first time she had hear him call her Rory. Instead she began to walk away, but her books had other places to be like the floor. All of her heavy text books came spilling out of her bag. Tristan knelt down to help her pick them up, after she had got all he didn't she began again trying to get away from him. It didn't work of course not only did he have to talk to her Tristan also had half her books.
"Tristan please give me my books back"
She said as she flipped around
"Rory please just me explain my self"
He said looking into her beautiful big blue eyes. It crushed him to see them filled to the brim with tears, knowing full well that they were because of him.
"ya know what keep them"
she whipped back around determined to get on her bus before her emotions over took her. Tristan followed her all the way to the bus-stop the Couple of blocks there filled with Tristan occasionally yelling something to the intent of "just turn around" "please we can talk about it" "just give me 5 minute Rory"
When they got to the stop it was her worst nightmare. Posted on the interchangeable schedule bored she had just missed her bus, and the next one was not coming for 45 minutes. She didn't know what to do so she sat on the bench and cried. It felt good it felt like she had been holding it all in and well this was not the most conventional place to let it out it was working just fine at the moment. Tristan felt horrible he felt like he could throw up. So he sat next to her and put his arm around her shoulder and confronted her . When Rory could get a word out she said,
"i have no way of getting home"
She said it like a lost dog that had been dumped miles from home.
"It's ok it's going to be fine, I'll drive you home"
Tristan said gingerly. Even in her manic state she knew this was odd behavior for Tristan. They walked back to school, When they got to Tristan's car he opened the door of his black convertible 2000 Rolls-Royce Dawn. Rory was scared not of Tristan and his driving abilities but of what he thought of her. When Tristan got in he grabbed her hand squeezed it lightly to grab her attention for a second.
"i promise I will not let you out of my sight until you are feeling better, wether that is something you want to hear or not"
He said in a firm but loving Tone
"i want... I want you to explain"
Rory said she was not sure how much he could understand her but she had to try
"ok umm see Mar- Rory I never hated you not one ounce, I guess I was so afraid that you would reject me and I liked, like you so much the rejection would killed me and I just maybe thought you were talking about your self"
"Wh-what do you me-an"
"I mean I am not the brightest tool in the shed but when you told me what kind of girl to look for you basically describe your self, I thought that was a green light"
"'I didn't de-describe me"
Tristan scoffed at this remark
"you said to find someone smart determined nice beautiful, and umm I guess that's how I would describe you"
He looked once more in to her eyes it was like a drug to him he needed his fix, what he saw was utterly amazing her eyes bigger then ever the tears in her eyes made them look like big blue portals into the ocean. He pulled into a restaurant parking lot and asked Rory if she was hungry she turned and gingerly nodded.
He turned off his car got out opened the door for her and walked in.
