The dark gloomy skies of Seattle wasn't really helping at all. Tonight is the night. I'm getting my first tattoo and boy am I nervous as hell. I've been wanting to get one since forever and now that I'm legal to, why not? As I made my way into the parlor, a middle- aged man with a pretty sick beard behind the front desk who looked up and smiled warmly at me. "Hey, what can I get ya?" He said. "Uhm, I would like to get a tattoo of this" I reached in my bag and handed him a slip of paper that had 'XCVI' written on it. "Roman numerals, classy. Now where would you like it miss?" I took out my wrist and pointed to it, "here." "Sounds great, I'll set you up with Paul over there after he's done, shouldn't take long though and can I have your name?" "Layla." I take a seat in one of the waiting chairs. 10 minutes later I heard my name being called. I got up and made my way towards Paul. As I was walking there some idiot decided to bump into me. "Jesus Christ watch where you're go- oh hey there babe." The 6 foot blonde boy smirked. "Been a while since I've seen a pretty face around town." He looked me up and down. After mentally cringing for five minutes I decided to speak up "Well that sucks because you're not going to see this 'pretty face' around town again." I fake smiled "You know, I like girls like you" he stepped closer to me. "Hard to get, just my type." he fake growled and laughed. "Layla?" Paul shouted from the other side of the room. "Oh Layla, what a lovely name" he took my hand and kissed the top of it. "I'll see you later" he looked up at me with a smirk still prominent on his face. "Layla." And with that he left me confused. Yeah okay I'll see him alright. What an absolute asshole.
