Clara awoke extremely exhausted like she had been for weeks. the doctor kept pestering her to tell him what was wrong or saying that she should get some rest but she would always insist she was fine even though she most defiantly was not fine.

for she knew that her feelings for the doctor were getting stronger and with that also came the undesired knowledge of knowing he would never lover her, so of course she hid her feelings.

but she was using so much energy hiding them and trying to act as if nothing was bothering her, now she is exhausted emotionally and physically and the sanario keeps getting worse for it is Wednesday.

she knew the doctor would be coming to get her soon but giving her state she didn't even have enough strength to get out of bed. she decided that she would ask Angie to tell him that she was ill.

"Angie could you be a dear and come here a moment?"

Clara tried the best she could to make her voice travle down the halls to the little girls room, her efforts seemed to pay off cause within a few short moments she arived at the door and greeted clara with a,

"what do you want?"

"Angie when the doctor comes bye I need you to tell him I won't be able to go any where today okay?"

"Why? are you sick?"

"Sort of".

Clara didn't want too lie too the thirteen year old and technically lovesick has sick in the name so she wasn't actually lying.

"Well he's a doctor ain't he, so why don't you just get him to help ya?"

Clara was about to explain that he wasn't that kind of doctor but before she could she heard the noise of the TARDIS materializing in the yard and Angie running down the halls to get to the door.

Clara laid there wanting to sleep but she couldn't because every time she tried to she would always have the same dream of the doctor telling her he hates her and would never love her.

eventually it came to the point where she found her self slightly afraid of sleeping so she tried to sleep as little as possible witch also contributes to her exhaustion and weakness.

she laid there thinking about how stupid and unrealistic her love for the doctor was, she didn't even relize that the doctor had entered her room until he spoke.

"I told you you should have slept instead of staying awake all night when we were in the TARDIS."

He said oblivious to the fact that Clara knew he was right but she was to afraid of sleep.

Clara let out a sigh.

"i know I should have slept but I couldn't."

"why was that?"

Clara didn't say any thing instead she just laid there unable to tell him the real reason and unable to come up with a descent lie.

"Clara what's wrong?"

Said the doctor his voice hinted with concern.

"nothing nothing just tired."

Clara rolled over hoping the doctor would stop asking questions.

"That's a lie, I know it is."

said the doctor as he walked over to the other said of her bed realizing that she had tears sliding down her face. That made him very concerned.

"Clara."

he said while he bent down putting his had on her face while stroking some of the tears away with his thumb. Clara kept her eyes shut tried her best to stop crying but to no prevail.

"Clara I know something is Wrong so you might as well just tell me."

The doctor stated. Clara still said nothing as more tears streamed out of her eyes. but doctor did not give up.

"Clara how about this you say one word, just one word, only one word that related to what's wrong?"

Clara thought about it for a moment before saying something that was causing her problems but not so much as other words she could have chosen.

"reality"
