Chapter 13

Bella POV

I heard a knock on the door while I was watching television with Tom. It's 11 p.m now. Who would come at this time? Summer had asleep by now. She said she's tired. She usually sleep at midnight.

I open the door and stunned to find two policeman at the door.

"Did Bella Powell here?"

"I--I am Bella Powell. " I stuttered as I was feeling nervous. I turn to Tom as made he made his way beside me.

"We have to bring you to the police station. " one of the police said.

"What? Why?" I said defending myself as I took a step backward.

"Someone has accused you for breaking his house window."

"Window? " Leo...

"We have to take you to police station. " The police grab me.

"Wait! Tom can you come with me"I said with panic but pleading at the same time.

"Okay" he said quickly as he ran to search for car key then lock the house door and followed me.

We're now at a police station. Sitting at one of the table in the station. Leo at my right and Tom on my left.

"Okay Miss" the police start talking. " We have the proof that you're the one who broke this man house window." he looked at Leo "There are CCTV at the house." the police speak calmly but still,his face looked scary.

I'm such a fool. Why didn't I think ?! Of course there are CCTV. I should have wear a mask or something. I slapped myself mentally.

Then Tom stand up "but sir!" He punch the table "he's the one who made her like this! He's the bad one sir" Tom pointed at Leo. It was a touching moment when Tom defend me with all of his might.

"I just thought about letting her go, but just now I think I change my mind." Leo speak up looking straight ahead.

He didn't even glance at me. While I'm staring-- more like glaring, intensely at him.

"What?" Tom looks at Leo with puzzle face. "Yeah yeah. She is a fool sir. Since we were kid. She always been like this." He pat my head "Please just let her go ?" He push my head "Don't do this again young lady" he scolded me.

How can person changed this fast?? Also dramatically. I rub my head "What the ?" I am so grateful that he's here but now I just think of him as some old annoying grandpa. I wish I would come here alone. I can handle this. It's an easy process. It's just I have never been in this situation before and didn't know what to expect. So yeah.. I was a bit scared.

I were release. Leo took back his charge.

"Huh" I sigh as soon we step outside the police station.

"Glad it's not going to be more complicated" Tom said

I glared. "What did you said ? I was a fool? You're really unbelievable! " I yell at him. I feel so embarrassed just now. How can he treat me like I was a child? We're the same age!!

"It's all for you. He'll never release you just like that if I hadn't said what I just said" he defend himself.

"He said he was thinking to release me you fool." Now it was my time to push his head. And I did it right in his face,with my palm. "Hahaha." I felt a lot better after getting my revenge."Hey, how about we watch a movie tonight? I don't feel like going home now" I suggest. I really didn't want to go home now. We're outside so why not enjoying it a bit.

"In this clothes? " Tom gestured to his clothes and looks at me with weird look on his face.

"Yaa.." We're wearing our sleep pajamas. "Let's go. " I pull Tom hand.
