The Love

Chapter 14

Peeta POV

It's morning and as usual I am outside of my house, waiting for newspaper.

Then I see a familiar girl riding her bicycle " Lucy?" I whisper.

She stop her bicycle in front of me. "Peeta? " her eyes became so big that i thought it would pop out.

I saw many newspaper in her bicycle basket.

I think I stare too long at the newspaper that she said " this is one of my new work"

I shifted my eyes from the newspaper to Lucy. she smile.

"Oh. " I return back to the reality world. She hand me one of the newspaper in her bicycle basket.

"I got to go now. "

"Wait. When will you done?"

"I don't know" she shrugged.

"When you're done, come to my house. I will make breakfast for us" I suggest

" I'm alright. " she look down

"I want you to come. Pleaseeee" I plead her

She smile chuckling "okay okay. I'll come."

"Good then"

I went into my house after she went to finish her work. I take the ingredients from my fridge to the table in kitchen. I plan to make spaghetti and fruit juice.

"How is it?" I ask Lucy who is now sitting across me eating her spaghetti.

"It's so delicious! " she lick her lips.

"I'm glad you like it"

Then I heard 'click'. The door open? Who is it? I lock it just now. It's either my parents or ... Summer!

It's my bad day.

"Summer"

I stand slowly.She stands there . Staring at us.

" what are you doing here?" She look at Lucy then at me "oh. You're having breakfast. Can I join you?"

"O..of course " I say and pull the chair for her to sit on

"I think I better go" Lucy stand up and grab her bag.

"Sit down. Eat the breakfast first." Summer said in cold voice.

"I have work to do. I'm sorry" Lucy bow and went out

Now it's just me and my girlfriend.

"Are you really cheating on me?" She glare

"No of course not!" I panicked.

She smile and held her hand out "give me your phone Mr. Peeta"

I gave her my phone "check it. It has nothing ." I assure her

"You had changed the password" she look at me suspicious.

" It's because of Tom!" I quickly said " he always play with my phone that's why. The pasword is 6620"

She stare at the phone " I don't want to open it" she put it on the table " I'll always be suspicious of you so you'll always feel guilty" she leaning on the chair making 'I'm just a helpless girl' face

"Oh please open it" i beg her.

"No. I'm late now. I'm going" she stand up and made her way out while I follow behind her. She turn suddenly. "I am a bit jealous. You cook for that girl" she look down

I see disappointment in her face. "I love you and I'll do anything for you" I caress her face

"I believe you." she said. I think I saw slightly uncomfortable feeling in her face. I hope it just my hallucinations .

Summer POV

I don't get it. He's the one who should be guilty but instead I'm the one who feel really sorry to him.

Bella and I went to John company to discuss about the bar. After we finished meeting, we all, including John's worker went to eat.

I sit beside Bella while John at two distance chair across me. Talking to his worker, Evan.

The two girls worker that sitting across me is talking about relationship that attract my interest.

" you know what,my boyfriend change now. He's changed." A girl with pony tail hair speak. Beside her is a pretty girl with brown wavy long hair.

"Changed how?"

"He said he didn't like my hair and he said that my face looks ugly now. He even suggested that I make a plastic surgery! Can you believe that?"

"Really?? I thought he was a nice guy "

"That's what I thought too..."

"Man , always the same." I speak up. They both look up at me. I continue "I also have date a man like that. Worst maybe. "

It's one beautiful sunny day and I was at a park. With John.

We were sitting on a bench eating cotton candy. Then a cute little girl came standing in front of me. " hello little girl" I greeted her with my biggest smile.

But she just laugh at me with pointing her finger at me until her mother came by her side and said "it's not nice laughing at other people. " she looked at me and I can sense that she was trying very hard to not laughing .

"What so funny?" I asked John

"Nothing" he smile while eating his cotton candy. He looks really cute enjoying his cotton candy.

I went to bathroom and looked at my messy face in the mirror. My face was full with cotton candy ! "John!!" I screamed in the bathroom

I stomped out and sulk.

"Summer~~" he put his hand on my shoulder.

"I don't want to talk to you." I face other side and pout.

"Summer I'm sorry."

"Why didn't you told me there were cotton candy on my face?"

"Because it looks so cute on your face. The cutest face I've ever seen" he cupped my face between his big hand.

I sigh. "I know I am cute but don't made me embrassed myself" I smile

" okay my love"

My heart skip a beat hearing the word love coming out of his mouth.

He stared at me then peck my lips. "I like cotton candy flavour" he wink and took my hand into his.

I just love this moment. I hope we can be like this for ever and ever.
