Chapter 22

Jungkook is seated in front of the operating room, Hoseok beside him, Dianne is beside him as well, it seems like time is ticking slowly he can't hear anything, his eyes are blurry of tears daring to fall, his heart is beating loudly out of his chest, he is scared, that he might have regrets, he is scared to lose his dad, no not now, he is not ready yet. Eyes in front of his hands, that fingers are interlock, praying for a good result. Dianne can see how Jungkook is, and it hurts her, seeing him like this, she dared to hold his hand, but she, herself can't bring that courage. She looked down, letting out a heavy sigh, she wanted to hug him so much right now, right at the moment you arrive, with his mom behind you, you can feel your heart ache, seeing Jungkook like this, you sit down to reach him, holding both of his hands in your palms, and in that moment, his eyes is on yours, and he felt the weight of the world, fell off his shoulders, his tears finally fall, he breakdown and you stand up, leaning his head on your abdomen, Dianne left can't see this moment, when someone comfort her love. 

You stayed with Jungkook for hours waiting for results, Jungkook breathed out when the results are good. you guys just need to wait for him to wake up. Hours passed and his dad finally opened his eyes, it's his wife the first person he saw, he never knew he could feel this way, he felt his tears fall on his cheeks, and his wife hugged him, crying in his arms, you stand behind Jungkook, an his dad extend his arm for his son, though he is afraid Jungkook might reject it. He still build up the courage to hug his son, Jungkook took a step  closer his dad, and he hugged him, you took a step back letting them have their family moment.

You smiled currently at the rooftop, glad about what happened, because if that didn't happen then, will Jungkook's family will be okay like now?  Jungkook stand beside you watching the view with you, his eyes are puffy after crying earlier, no words are exchange, but it feels warm not awkward Jungkook leaned his head on your shoulder and your head leaned on his.

''Dad  my y/n is  here'' Jungkook's mom chuckled at how Jungkook called you, you bowed in front of his dad, and Jungkook's mom smiled at you, greeting you, you smiled back and handed a box  with a gift, Jungkook's dad gladly took it, with a small smile on his face, he told you he is sorry, and you accept it with your heart, the day passed, with you and his family bonding together.

You yawned closing your laptop after finishing some works you need to do, Jin gave you a energy drink, and you smiled at him, and he gave you a wink being playful like he always do. A knock was heard and Jungkook opened your door, ''Why you here?'' Jin crossed his arms on his chest ''I'm fetching my love.'' Jungkook simply answered cleaning your things for you, ''I think I should post outside of our hotel, no boyfriends allowed.'' you chuckled at Jin's statement  ''Well, that wont work on me.'' Jungkook keeps your things in place, while having a talk with Jin ''because I'm her husband.'' Jungkook winked at you and Jin is so disgusted now ''did he just wink?'' Jin fake puke making you laughed while they bicker around.

Jungkook took you to a place made you nostalgic, your heart melt at sight  it is the beach where your love story with him started ''thought, you might miss this place.'' Jungkook let out removing his coat and put it on you, you smiled staring at the waves, your memories with him flash in your mind. Some are so beautiful like it's a fairytale and some are painful to bare, your relationship with him has been through so much, you actually never thought, you would get back together with him. And thinking about it, made you emotional somehow, Jungkook wrapped his arms around your waist. Leaning his chin on your shoulder, opening his palm ''Hand.'' you were confuse at first but you put your hand in his palm, and to your surprise he hold your fourth finger, putting a ring on it. It is simple but gorgeous with a diamond sparkling at the center of it. it took seconds before Jungkook could utter a word, he is hella nervous now.
