Chapter 50

Vincent Laurent

"Make them bleed more." I said before hanging up. I could hear their screams in the background get louder and louder before I press the red button and almost fucking smiled in delight. What a great way to start my day.

Tina and the two other guys were halfway to hell but I wasn't going to rest before I made sure they saw all seven gates of hell. They should've known better than to lay a damn finger on Oriya.

I see Theo's missed call and decide to check what he wanted from me. The phone rings twice before his voice flows through, "Vincent."

"What?" I grumble.

"Such a kind lad." Theo says sarcastically.

"What do you want?" I ignore what he said.

"People have been stealing from warehouses." He informs me.

My eyebrows furrow, "Who?"

"Stupid teenagers. They're like 16-17." He responds.

"Deal with it then." I shrug, hanging up on him too.

Of course I would treat this matter more seriously if it was someone else but it's just teenagers who think they got lucky and found some normal drug dealer's drug stash. It would either go one of two ways.

Theo tells them to pay for everything they took and they do so. Or, they don't pay for it and death welcomes them with open arms. I don't feel bad. They should know better than to steal from a random warehouse in the middle of no where.

I go into my room to check on my witch to see if she's still sleeping or not. I was met by Sarah and Ryder on either side of her as they tried to get under the blanket with Oriya. Ryder had the fucking nerve to lay on top of her.

That's my spot.

I stride towards them and pull Sarah's pigtail lightly, knowing it won't hurt her. She scowls at me before fisting her little hand and punching my leg.

"Move." I grunt.

Ryder and Sarah only giggle as a response and cuddle further into my witch. Lucky rats.

I scowl at them again before I pick them up with one hand each and toss them to the side. Obviously on the bed. I'm not stupid. They giggle again and try coming closer to Oriya again but get stopped with my hand to their face.

I shove their faces away, "Go watch TV."

They look at each other as if they're having a conversation through their minds. What the fuck? Ryder nods and Sarah holds out her hand for me, as if this is a business deal. I roll my eyes and shake her hand anyway.

I just want to be alone with Oriya.

They dash out the door and I almost smile in content. I plop down on Oriya and shove my hand under her shirt and hold her breast for comfort. A baby smile graced her lips and she ran her soft fingers through my hair.

I knew she was awake. She just didn't want to deal with the kids.

"Good morning." I mumble in her chest.

"Good morning indeed." She says in her morning voice.

"You sound like batman." I mention.

"Normal people say 'I love you' to their girlfriend." She smacks my head.

I smack her big ass head, "I don't even like you."

I sometimes worry I'm not doing enough for her. I didn't grow up around love and never learned how to show it. I don't want her to feel like I don't love her because god knows I do but I just don't know how to show it.
