"Ms L/N What is the answer to 25" i jolted up "An inference Mr Pearson" I brushed my curls behind my ears out of nervous habit "No it is an observation Ms Y/N pay attention,class I-" saved by the bell finally the first week of hell is over. As soon as the afternoon announcements ended and we were dismissed I threw on my trusty Walkman and played my mixtape tape this charming man by the Smiths  my favorite song of their's.as I walked to the bus I felt a presence near let me guess it's probably Tiffany houser teasing me about my outfit. "Y/N" it was John thank god I took of my headphones "hey Johnny what's up" I smiled he makes everything better "nothing much what are you listening to" he chuckled "the smiths this  charming man  " , "not a bad song,what are you doing tonight" he ran a hand through his gorgeous highlighted hair " the mall maybe tower records" I shrugged "I hope it's not Springsteen he's god awful"John wined "no some Pat Benatar ,the Motels, the Waitresses and  Sheena Easton" I laughed while fixing my swatch watch "great I taught you well" I started to walk towards the bus "nope not today your riding with me were going to the movies" John grabbed my hand walking me towards his car  "what-why" I chuckled "you need a Friday night out of that room of yours darling" I felt my cheeks turn red "well what movie Johnny" "whatever movie you want Y/NN"he mimicked my voice terribly with his voice cracking "well take me back to my house to change it's going to be chilly later"."your wish is my command" he said opening the car door for me,he's such a gentleman even though he's just my best friend well my only friend he got in on the other said he turned the ignition."I can't believe I've known you for two years now it's like we met yesterday Y/N" I smiled fondly "same it's like we met yesterday during freshman orientation when I dropped my Walkman and you said what are you listening to" I sighed "your my only friend Johnny the only person who understands me in this town" he faced me during a red light "what do you mean" his smile turned into a frown "for years I've been bullied no one has ever said yeah that's Y/N L/N she's my best friend.until you came around with your purple hair" I laughed "well everyone in this town must be stupid because your the most awesome girl I've ever met"." Why do you hang out with me John I'm a nobody really I'm not popular I'm a theater geek and I'm not the head cheerleader and I'm not pretty either-" "where is all this coming from Y/n" he sighed "What did Tiffany do" I couldn't get the image of her knocking me over out of my head "nothing she just knocked me over and said that I'm very ugly and no one at school likes me because I don't belong" he sucked his teeth "screw Tiffany she's a fake bi-" his sentence was interrupted while he pulled into my drive way "is your mom home" he asked "yeah she is".   "great I can show her my art project,but     Y/N Tiffany is just jealous ok your gonna be a big star but Tiffany she's gonna end up married to Chet and be miserable.he hugged me he smelled so good.we made our way inside my house "mom I'm home john's here I said taking off my jellies and John took off his his shoes my mom came out of the kitchen "hello honey hi how are you Nigel-john I'm sorry I forget you like to go by John now" she said embracing us."It's no problem Ms Y/MN" he smiled "John has a portrait to show you Mom" he opened his back pack "it's a crying lady Ms Y/MN" he laid it on the coffee table it was beautiful. "John it's beautiful..well I'm gonna make you two a snack you to can watch some tv or head upstairs" John started to head upstairs." I'm right behind you John I just need to get some Pepsi's" my mom smiled a sly smile "Y/N you should tell him he likes you and you like him you to make a good couple plus I approve" I blushed. "mom I try it's just I get shy that's all" she chuckled " we'll talk later go upstairs" she chuckled "enjoy the movie" her back was turned "you knew" I smiled. "He told me now go upstairs"she laughed. I went into my room to find John drawing and eating the snack my mom made "what are you drawing" I snapped him out of his thoughts he seemed bit embarrassed "oh that picture of you on your desk" he sipped his Pepsi I grabbed my red jumpsuit that has shoulder pads and my red white scrunch socks. I went to go change on the bathroom. After I put on my outfit I decided tonight I'm gonna put on makeup since the last time I put on makeup I got heckled at school,I started to fix my hair and shook it and put some hair spray in it.I stepped out of the bathroom and went back into my room John was still drawing and listening to my radio.""well how do I look" I said spinning "you look great Y/NN" John smiled" it needs a belt though" I went into my bottom drawer and got my black belt "aww thanks Johnny can you do my makeup you do it way better than I do"I said putting on my belt"sure just give me what you you have " he said getting up from my chair I sat down at my vanity handing him my makeup bag. I sipped my Pepsi    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ John's POV                                                                        I started to do Y/N's makeup she really is gorgeous but she doesn't even know.I started to look into her Y/CE they sparkled like stars and those beautiful cheeks of here's were soft like silk and her nose I always want to bop it I love how it scrunches at times and her beautiful lips that looked as if they were soft to the touch if only I could just kiss them. The  last thing I had to do was apply her lip gloss "done look at your self" her face lit up,Her Y/HC Hair bounced as she got I could smell her sweet perfume as she hugged me.                                                                    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Your POV                                                                          "Aww Johnny your a miracle worker thank you your the best" I looked in the mirror again I looked beautiful actually I looked up and saw John stare at me intensely like he really wanted to say something he attached behind his neck we should get going the movie starts at 6 and I know the traffic is insane he said quickly looking at his watch "oh ok I'll just put on my earrings" I said putting on my giant red earrings,putting on my red bangles and fixed  my heart locket necklace and grabbed my brown bag off of my door rack and walked down the stairs then John followed "bye mom me and John are leaving" I yelled while we put on our shoes "bye you too have fun" she yelled back I grabbed my Jean jacket from the door rack.as we drove to the theater live and let die by wings started to play "one day y/n I'm gonna write the best bond theme I'm in a band after all"I smiled " I should hear you all play some time"."you should" we pulled into the parking lot all the sudden John started running that goof ball he wants to race me "oh no you don't Mr Taylor" I chased after him "come get me" he laughed I finally caught up with him inside "I got you" I sighed out of breathe "what movie are we going to see", "sixteen candles" he really shouldn't have "John I know you don't want to see-" "sssh tonight's about you Y/NN if I didn't want to see it at all I wouldn't have brought you here tonight now come on let's get our tickets and snacks" .He ruffled my hair I tried grabbing his hat but I'm too short "hey I worked really hard on my hair" I said kind of annoyed "sorry dear" he said teasingly "seats 1b and 2b in the middle row " the usher said popping her gum loudly while handing out tickets.we had a good distance from the usher when we walked off "seats 1b and 2b in the middle row" we said mimicking her voice.we walked over to the snack stand "Hi welcome to the stardust mall cineplex I'm Teresa what would you like" looking at the menu I said " we'll take two hot dogs a large popcorn extra buttery,rasinettes,snow caps and two cherry cokes"."you got it it'll be ready in a jiffy"she smiled and went to get our snacks all was well until "ugh it must be freaks night out"I heard a voice snicker "ugh why are they here" John huffed "hey Y/N have you ever even kissed a boy"Tiffany laughed I just acted like I didn't hear anything "aww she's giving us the silent treatment" Tiffany's friend Monica laughed "will you plastic clowns shut up and leave my girlfriend alone"John yelled "John please I-"."here's your food the usher smiled but she noticed something was off "let's go Y/n"he said grabbing our snacks,as we walked to the condiments and napkins area I turned to John "you really didn't have to do that Johnny you didn't have to call me your girlfriend-"."I know but they pissed me off"he said putting ketchup on our hot dogs and grabbed straws and napkins, we walked into theatre 751 we sat down and saw trailers for movies called dune,nightmare on elm street,night of the comet and Beverly Hills cop.then the dancing snacks started to come on "that means the movies starting Johnny"I laughed then the movie began the movie was better than I expected definitely renting this when it comes out on blockbuster.In the movie Sam was standing in a pink wedding dress and there he was Jake  Ryan her dream guy my eyes started to water I couldn't help but think I'll never get my Jake Ryan I'm not good enough for him.He wouldn't want the shy mousy girl who hardly talks I felt john's eyes move on me "Y/N"he whispered "is everything alright" I wanted to cry in his arms "I'm fine" i sucked back my tears "no your not tell me" he brushed my cheek "I like you you know what I love you John I've wanted to tell you for so long and I know you would never love me back so you can leave me here I'll take a bus home-" I was cut off by a gentle kiss "If I didn't love you I definitely wouldn't have done that" I gasped "I've never been kissed before" I blushed "well it seems you got your Jake Ryan" he laughed "well it seems I do" He kissed me  again" the lights went up when the kiss broke their was Tiffany standing behind us shocked "well-" I've had enough "beat it Tiffany I have a date with my boyfriend tonight" she ran off shocked,we laughed "so I'm your boyfriend now huh"John smiled sheepishly "am I your girlfriend" I retorted back "yes so let's get out of here girlfriend" he wrapped his arm around my shoulder "yes let's go boyfriend" We walked out of the cinema hand in hand let's just say the best type of love is being in love with your best friend.
