There's a reason solitary imprisonment is a punishment and when that captivity is in the deepest pits of hell, it's a hundred times more hellish.
Tora didn't realise how much time had passed. All she knew was that she was soaking wet and cold, drenched in blood, the blood of someone she had killed. She couldn't see her hands, but she was positive that they were caked in dried blood. The metallic tang of blood was in the air, and her stomach heaved with each breath that she took. She felt sick to her core.
She wrapped her arms around herself in a semblance of warmth, but it was only cold- cold and numb. Her body and her mind, was frozen in a state she couldn't get herself out of. Her wide-open eyes saw nothing but the darkness. It was a void, an unfulfilled eternal void of madness and she was pretty sure it'd take only a few hours for that place to drive her insane.
Tora curled herself into a ball on the cold stone floor, tears running silently down her cheeks.
