Neji's POV:
I watched as the last leaf of the lemon tree swished away by the winter wind leaving the tree completely bare . I wonder where Hinata-sama is ? Normally she would have practically came running and jumped on me as soon as she hears I am here . Ko said that she was talking to Hiasi-Ojisama....I wonder what is this conversation about? Suddenly I hear rushed footsteps coming towards me . I smirked and prepared myself for the impact .
"Neji-ni !" As I expected I was tackled by my little hyper cousin . Thank goodness I was prepared for this or both of us would have fallen on the backyard.
"Hinata-sama Otanjobi wa Omegeto (Lady Hinata Happy Birthday) ." She pulled away and grinned at me .
"Arigato Nisan (Thank you brother)!" I chuckled and ruffled her hair causing her to giggled.
"So where's my gift ?" She asked with a smirk . I smiled.
"How about a new jutsu ?" Her eyes lit up immediately.
"Really ? What kind ?"
"I will show you how to close someone's tenketsu points with just 2 fingers."
"Cool ! Show me !"
"Right away my hime ." For a moment she looked at me with a little bit of sadness in her eyes but after a millisecond she giggled and took her fighting stance , eyes flashing with determination. Was it my imagination? I shrugged and took my stance . Then we started on our Jukenho (gentle fist) practice.
4 hours later :
We were both lying down on the floor panting.
"That *pant* was *pant* so *pant* tough. " Hinata-sama said .
"Ye*pant*ah ." We just laid there for 15 minutes until some of our tenketsu points opened up again and we were free to move . We then walked to the medical wing together to get all of our closed tenketsu points to open . After we were done we went to Ojisama to give him a report of our training. He was very pleased to here the report . Then we just spent some time together talking about everything while waiting for everyone to arrive. Once everyone did we started the celebration.
8 hours later :
"Alright we will be going then ." Otosan said as we bowed to Oji-sama , Oba-sama and Hinata-sama who smiled and bowed back in return. We were basically the last ones to leave .
"See you around Nisan , Ojisan ." Hinata-sama said cheerfully. We smiled, nodded and took our leave .
3 hours later :
Normal POV :
At the middle of the night a mysterious figure was creeping towards the sleeping Hyuga heiress's room . He silently opened the door and crept closer to the occupied futon of the heiress . It looked like the heiress was cold as she had completely wrapped herself from head to toe . But the intruder noticed something wrong with the way she was sleeping as there was no rise or fall of her chest as there normally should indicating her slow breathing. He immediately pulled the cover off and was shocked at the sight .
