Ko's POV:
"Should I head out and look for Hinata-sama ?" I asked looking at Hiashi-sama who shook his head as a 'no'. I looked at the gate worried.
"But the sun will set soon ."
"She has promised that she will be back at sunset and the sun hasn't went down yet so relax ."
"Bu-"
"Ko-san ! Have you started doubting me now ?" A playful voice called out from the front gate . Hiashi-sama smiled while looking towards the door. I sighed and turned around to Hinata-sama's playful glare . I smiled and shook my head.
"Never in my life , Hinata-sama. "
"Good then ." She then came walking towards . We all went inside while she was talking about her day but suddenly she mentioned one name that was truly unexpected as both me and Hiashi-sama stood still and stare at her as she continued the story of her play that with Naruto Uzumaki...the demon brat .
"Hinata-sama y-" Hiashi-sama raised his hand stopping me of saying anything.
"Ko I want you to deliver the clan papers to the elders immediately." He ordered. I bowed and took my leave .
Hiashi's POV:
"What was he about to say Oto-sama?" Hinata asked looking at me innocently . I sighed . She is just a child ...moreover she doesn't knows about the kyubi as I can't tell her without the Hokage's permission.
"Hinata ....why did you became his friend?" I asked looking at her eyes that can never lie .
"Because he was lonely....he said that every one hates him or ignores him ....he didn't have any friends...and since I didn't had any friends either I decided to be his friend...why Oto-sama?" I sighed .
"It's nothing I was just curious. "
"Ne Oto-sama why do people hate him ? Even Ko-san looked repulsive hearing his name ....he is just a child like me he possibly couldn't have done anything to make people hate him ." My eyes widened. How come I never thought of this before? She is right...he is just a kid besides what happened was out of his control...Yondaime-sama wanted us to treat him like a hero and look what we have done ....if anything we should be the one to be called a demon not that innocent child . I smiled down at Hinata who gave me a confused glance .
"You are right ....he had done nothing....people hate him for something that is out of his control."
"But that's so cruel ."
"I know but ..."
"But ?"
"You don't hate him right?"
"Of course not !"
"Then continue being his friend and supporting him ." I said smiling while she looked up at me wide - eyed .
"Really?"
"Yes ...you can even bring him here so I could teach him some taijutsu. " I smiled as I saw her face lit up immediately. She hugged my waist tightly and mumbled ,"Arigato Oto-sama, you are amazing!"
