Y/n is the son of Chryssa and he attends the same school as Chloe and Goh. After he graduates( near the end Ash's alola adventure/near the alola league end) he becomes one of Professor Cerise's research fellows along side Goh before Ash comes.
Today was the last day at the Vermilion city school. The students were all excited as they had been called to the main hall by their principal. They were unaware of what was to come as they all saw their parents their as well. They stood by their parents as the principal came out and began to speak.
Principal:Today is a very special day for our students as they graduate from our school. As a special gift for them we have a very special surprise. The students and parents were wondering what they meant. That was when a man wearing a long red cape and a black cape along as having a purple beard and hair came out from backstage.

Students:LEON?! (Leon is friends with the principal so that is why he is here) Leon:That's right. As a special treat for all of you that did your best during this academic year, the principal decided to hold a school tournament for all of you. The winner of this tournament will be given this. That was when Leon pulled out a purple band that had an X symbol on it.

Leon:For those of you who don't know what this is, this is a dynamx band which allows you to dynamax a pokemon in a max arena in the galar region. Students were ecstatic as their principal came out to talk a bit more. Principal:I hope all of you are ready because this will be very challenging. Leon:The rules are that students can have up to three pokemon on their teams. We will start with a battle royal which will end with 16 students left. The first and second rounds will be 1 on 1 battles, the third round will be 2 on 2 battles and the final round will be 3 on 3 battles. All the students cheered as they were dismissed from the main hall and were given one hour to train. Y/n:Munch let's do our best okay Munch:Lax! That was when a very pretty girl with flower like patterns in her hair and emerald green eyes walked up to him. Once he saw her he blushed immediately.

Chloe:Hey there Y/n. Are you participating in the tournament? Y/n:Of course I am! Me and Munch are the best. Chloe:Yeah you are. She crouches down to pet Munch to which he says his name happily. That was when a student walked up to them with a grin on his face and his ace pokemon a Larvitar by his side.

(Yeah I didn't even know this guy existed until now )Yeardly:Ha. Get ready to see me win this tournament. I am the best. Chloe:If you are the best then how come you have never beat Y/n in a battle? Yeardly:I let him win those battles! Today will be different! Y/n:Ha. We will see Yeardly and his Larvitar walk off to do some training. Y/n:Wait. Chloe are you participating? Chloe:Well I can't because I don't have a pokemon with me. Y/n:What about Yamper? It is basically yours. Chloe:Well I am not sure I will even do that well. That was when Chryssa, Sebastian, Professor Cerise and Talia(Chloe's mom) came towards them. Chryssa:Are you excited son? Y/n:Yeah! Sebastian:Well I am sure you will do great. Talia:Chloe what about you? Chloe:Well I don't have a pokemon with me. Cerise:What about Yamper? He likes you more than anyone in our house so he is practically yours. Y/n:Exactly! Chloe:Well- She was cut off by Yamper quickly licking her on the face. Y/n:See even Yamper agrees. Chloe:OK I will participate. Cerise:You can borrow some of the pokemon at the lab if you want. Chloe:OK thanks dad. The two graduates run other to their schools training area to start training for the school tournament. During this training session Chloe was given Yamper, a nidoran female and a butterfree to use in the tournament. With Y/n's help she was able to use them properly in battle and was as ready as she could be. Y/n:You ready. Chloe:Yeah I am. The battle royal portion of the tournament began. Each student was only aloud to use one pokemon for this bit. Y/n was using Munch while Chloe used Yamper and Yeardly decided to use his larvitar. Leon:May the battle royal commence! The royal with 200 students began and there were pokemon firing attacks to each other left and right. For Y/n a haunter charged at him Y/n:Use bite! Munch viciously assaulted the ghost type pokemon with a barrage of biting attacks knocking with out. With Chloe there was a pidgeotto diving towards her. She was hesitant but commanded Yamper to attack. Chloe:Use Baby doll eyes then spark! Yamper sent copies of eyes towards the regional bird which lowered its attack before Yamper charged at it with electricity knocking it out. With Yeardly he was battling a noctowl. Yeardly:Use rock tomb! Yeardly send large boulders towards the knowledgeable bird pokemon sending it crashing into the ground. After a few knockouts there are only 16 people left.
