"This is it, boys and girls. Our new home for the next few months." Galeforce confirmed when everyone was finally on board.
The young adults viewed their surroundings. Henry in cyan looked over at his friend in red, Charles and smiled.
Ellie wore a pink spacesuit. "Oh, this is gonna be awesome! Far from home, and our crappy families! IN SPACE!"
Rupert in white crossed his arms "oh yeah. Because, being in the vacuum of space, lightyears away from earth, with half the crew being quote, unquote, 'reformed' criminals, is supposed to be fun."
"Oi! You got a problem with us just say it then." RHM dressed in yellow. His robotic eye glowing inside his helmet.
"Guys. I know what you military folks might think of us, but starting conflict allready is a terrible idea, eh?" Burt in orange spoke, calmly as the voice of reason.
"Mr.Curtis has a point. Let's try to get along. Pizza! Our journey here has left us hungry. We'll refuel our bodies before we tackle our tasks for the day." The general spoke again.
Dave in black cleared his throat, while the others dug into their cafeteria food "um, General, sir. You've been in space before yes?"
Galeforce nodded "Yes. What about it?"
Dave seemed worried "Have you ever seen anything... Scary, or well uh..."
His General sighed "You want to know if the rumours are true, yes?" He paused, and everyone went silent "the rumors about alein lifeforms infiltrating SKEILD ships... Is true. I faced down with one once and it's as if he wasn't even human. Even so... You have nothing to worry about. Everyone here came straight from the Training Academy, yeah? No one here has had any extraterrestrial encounter to raise suspicion." He smiled softly.
Dave nodded "yes, Sir. Sorry, Sir."
Galeforce "Relax. I understand your concern, private. Do not worry. If I find any trace of a killer, I will personally launch them into space." His gaze lands on RightHand and Reginald, before walking away.
They continued to eatin silence, till RHM spoke. "Even if there aren't any alien imposters or deaths, Hubert will find a way to get Reg and I a one way ticket to the vacuum of space."
"That's not true, sir. He wouldn't do that... Would he?" Sven in blue questioned.
Rupert towered over the Swedish boy, menacingly. "Maybe we should find out." His eyes peirced deeply into Sven's soul reflecting a red glow.
"Rupy! Quit it! We can't just eject people because we don't like them. Give them a chance. They may just surprise you buy saving your life on this rusty ship." Dave put a hand on White's shoulder and he calmed down.
Rupert huffed, patted his friends head and headed out of the cafeteria. "I'm going to check out the sleeping quarters. Don't wait up."
Later that night, two figures snuck out of their cubicals and met in the security room.
Figure 1 was panicing "What are we gonna do? If they find out-"
"They won't. We're still us. We can control this damn alien parasite through will power. It's worked so far." Figure 2 kept saying.
"But what if they find out we snuck out before exams and found that meteorite that had alien life on it!? You heard Galeforce! The others never came into contact with extraterrestrials before!"
"Look. I know you're scared. I am too. But we can still be with our fellow humans. We just need to keep calm and stay in control. Ok?"
"I don't want to keep secrets from... him."
"Me neither. But we have no choice. Deep breath, bud. Everything will be ok."
Figure 1 takes a deep breath in and out, then nods as they head back to their sleeping quarters.
