I'm (Y/N)! I'm 12 and have to move to gravity falls. A small town in the south. I have to move there to get a bit of money. I'm adopted you see and I have to pay rent. My foster parents don't care. If I can't pay, I can't stay. So I got a job at the mystery shack. I heard that 2 twin the same age live there. This could be interesting. I get the bus with my spare money and make my way to the shack. It looks a reck. The guy who owns it is called stan pines. He said he could provide ,e with a room but he will pay me less. I didn't want to sleep on the streets so I took the offer. I step in and a girl who looks about 16 was standing at the till. She noticed I walked in and came up to me. She was tall and was a red head. Her name tag said Wendy.
"Hi, you must be (Y/N), I'm Wendy, stan is in the back room," her voice was sweet. She was smiling. Not evil, but welcoming. I thank her and walk through the door. This place had lots of fake stuff in here. I go through the staff only door and see stan in a suit.
"You must be (Y/N), KIDS! Can you show our guest to her room. You can have the day off today. He said. I smile and thank him. Two kids come rushing in. There was one boy and one girl. The twins. The boy stared at me for awhile. I stared right back. He was cute, wait what. I can't like someone I just met. Can I? He snapped back into reality and walked in front of the girl.
"I'm dipper and this is my sister mabel. " He said
" I'm (Y-Y/N)" you managed to say. He laughed a bit and show you around the house. When you got to your room. He left you to settle in. Mabel runs in.
" Omg, I have to tell you something!" She says. I could hear dipper banging on the door and shouting stuff like don't you dare and please don't tell her. She smiled and whisperd.
"Dipper likes you, a lot. He did like wendy until you came along." My eyes grown wide. He liked me. I liked him. She gets up and rushed out.
"Don't worry bro-bro, I didn't tell her!" She smiled and left. Did I like him? I couldn't stop myself anymore. I DID like him. I start to unpack and then go down stairs. Dipper was on the couch, mabel was at the table. I want to know if mabel was telling the truth. To test it, I sat next to dipper. He blushed. He DOES like me.
"Hi dipper!" I say. He looks at me.
"Hi," he says. " Did stan tell you about the party to celebrate your arrival. It will be in a weeks time" he said. I thank him for telling me and then go thank stan for this kind thought. I walk back to where the twins were but they weren't there. I walk up the stair and enter there room. They were looking at this book. It looked like mine.
"What's that?" I ask. Dipper looks at mabel and she nods. He gets up and tells me to sit down. He explains how he found it and the mysteries he had been on with his sister. ( this takes place before episode 10 season 2 ) he tells me to tell no one. I look in my pocket and see my book. I look at dipper, then mabel. Can I trust them? I decide yes and get my book out. They gasp. It had the number 4 on it.
"How?" He asked
"When I was younger, I went on a trip here with my parents before they died. While I was here, I found this book. I met one creature out of this book. I met bill cipher. He said to give him the journal and he would make sure I have a good future. I say no and he disappears. I love exploring mysteries. That's why I got a job here."
"You met bill cipher! stay away from him. He nearly made our uncle turn mad and took over my body." He said.
"Ok!" I say. He looked happy.
" I can't believe you like mysteries too, you and dipper are like, made for each other!" Mabel said. We both blushed. It was silent for about a minuet then I got up. It was getting late so I said goodbye and went to my room. It had been a long day. I needed to rest.
