On the next day which is Sunday, Dafune andMadam Jose were at home as they did not open the tailor shop on weekend asMadam Jose and Alicia wanted to rest and focus to complete the order. As hadbeen told by Dafune, Madam Jose started to teach Dafune about the stitching.Madam Jose started to teach the very basic of stitching which is knowing thestitching tools. First, she asked Dafune to arrange the tools and then Madam Joseshowed each of the tool and stated its name and function. This is crucialbecause before begin to stitch clothes, Dafune must know what tools are neededin order to stitch the clothe. Dafune focused with all the Madam Jose teachingsand she could catch up with all the explanation. Madam Jose was happy thatDafune could understand what had been taught by her. Then, on the next days,Dafune continued to learn how to stitch clothes. She also learnt with Aliciaand Alicia felt excited to teach her. day by day. Madam Jose and Alicia taughtDafune about the basic stiches which are cross-stitch, running stitch, ladderstitch and backstitch. Dafune also been taught when to do these types ofstiches. She also learnt about the fabric and the characteristic of each fabricso that she knows what fabric suitable to use and meet the requirement from thecustomer. Not only that, shealso learnt the do and don'ts for each fabric. Then, she learnt the measuring.Measuring is significant so that the tailor can get the right fit for theclothes. Therefore, when the customers wear the clothes, it will be put nicelyon them and also comfortable as if the measurement is too small, the clothes isnot comfortable to be worn by the customers. Then, she also learnt the cutting.This is crucial for to make sure got the right style or shape of a garment asopposed to its fabric or trimming. Dafune also learnt other important things institching. Day by day, Dafune always getting some new knowledges in stitchingand getting to be good in stiching. She felt that she was near with her dreamthat she had since child which is to be a fashion designer. she is grateful tomeet Madam Jose as she not only treats her kindly and gently, Madam Jose alsomade her feel more spirited to achieve her dream. On the leisure time, she willmake a sketch of the clothes that she wanted to make and put some notes on itssuch as what fabric need to be used and what is the suitable cut for theclothes. Even she is not good as Madam Jose and Alicia, Dafune still help MadamJose and Alicia to complete the order as far as she can. Madam Jose felt sodelightful with the existence of Dafune in real life as Dafune lessen herburden like Dafune helped her to do the house chores, helped her in the shopand many more. Madam Jose also happy that she can help Dafune to achieve herdream and also make her happy as she was expelled by her family.
