Chapter 8 The eyes of pain

Austin is at the starting line of the tournament; he's in a small dark box and there is a medieval-style gate above him. He is worried about what might happen to him but he is confident in his abilities as a super.

So he starts warming up and the announcer says a countdown 5,4,3,2, and 1!!!!! The gate rises and the arena is a whole bunch of abandoned houses and even a mini-mall. There is a ring behind them that shrinks consistently.

Also, there are guns. Austin starts picking up an AK-47 but then gets hit by a beast super and it's like he's a big monkey. Austin gets up and starts running around the house, there is a super with chainsaws attached to him. It's fighting the beast super and the monkey super is still chasing after Austin but a vulture-like super comes and grabs Austin and throws him through 2 buildings.

Austin gets up and makes his sword but not until the vulture super screams out SUPER OVERDRIVE!!!

The super looks like it's losing its mind at first but then it is made clear that the vulture super wasn't trying at all when it first threw him through 2 houses. The vulture super starts running double times his normal speed and has a super jump.

The vulture super lands on Austin and his punches feel like Austin is getting smacked with bricks. Austin gets the bright idea to dodge some of the vulture super punches. It starts working and Austin finally finds an opening he then stabs the vulture with his beak.

Austin's beak goes right through its stomach but the monkey super comes and knocks both of them away while Austin is getting up he gets punched right in the stomach. He also gets grabbed and slammed through a wall. A giant snake and the chainsaw devil are fighting Austin says "Hello". Then gets hit by a snake tail right into the monkey super.

Austin realizes that he can't kill the monkey super because it's too durable so Austin gets grabbed and thrown down and the vulture is attacking him and they start trading blows after blows but a regular super can't win against a super that's in Overdrive.

It looks like the Chainsaw devil is about to die but it goes super overdrive and suddenly there is snake blood everywhere.

All of the supers start going into super overdrive now there is a 15-foot-tall super snake, a glowing Chainsaw demon thing, and a golden monkey so at this point, everything is fighting everything. The chainsaw demon ran out of energy and went back to its human form and the Vulture super started to run out of overdrive he was so tired after it only took one slash from Austin's feather sword to knock him out.

It was snake vs monkey but at this point, the circle was getting pretty tiny. The final contestant finally appeared and HE COULD FLY.

He looked human but he had bandages on both of his wrists he unraveled them, put his index finger and his middle finger on them, and swiped like he was unlocking his phone.

Two golden swords came out and he stabbed the monkey along with the snake through the head. The super flew over to Austin and says "You're no match for me so I'm just going to put my swords up". Austin and this random super get into a fight but Austin is severely outclassed he can't get a punch in and he knows that if he doesn't do something he is going to die so he tries to go Super Overdrive.

Austin yells at the top of his lungs SUPER OVERDRIVE!!!! Austin starts to claw violently at his mask he even drops down to the floor and gets up and says "I did it". The golden sword super says "Um what did you do"? "I'm the strongest super ever made by CHAOS you're insanely weak compared to me"?

Two swords come out of his back and they stab through Austin and he falls to the floor and falls unconscious.

Meanwhile, back on earth, Olivia finally stops crying, and they both go to the bathroom so Olivia can cool off. While Addison is helping her she says you can come over again and maybe you can cuddle me again.

They both laugh and she says thanks but in her mind, she is getting overwhelmed because she's thinking of cuddling and kissing Addison even though it would probably never happen.

They go back to their classroom and this is the first time they have seen their teacher get this mad. He is screaming at every student because no one will admit to setting it up so he just sits down and goes back to teaching. All day Addison stays next to Olivia or in eyeshot of her and she sees how much Olivia gets bullied daily.

Constantly girls called her names and shoved her in the halls. At the end of the day right before Olivia goes to talk to Addison and Chris. Mia and her friends are on the top floor of one of the school buildings. One by one the girls start pouring a soda on Olivia.

One of Olivia's best friends threw a bucket of water at Olivia. They hit her head and she gets knocked out she starts bleeding a lot. Addison looks back in horror and the girls run after they see that she got knocked out.

Someone says "Mia finally took out the boyfriend taker" and they all start celebrating. Chris and Addison run to help her, luckily she's not dead, she is just unconscious.

She wakes up with Addison, Chris, and Jordan laying her down in Addison's room, and her head injury instantly starts healing she says "What happened"? Addison says "One of Mia's friends dropped a bucket of water on your head and it knocked you out we reported her to the principal she will get expelled".

Chris gets a call from an unknown number he goes to answer it and suddenly he pulls Addison outside and talks to her about Austin. Addison says "That he will hopefully be back soon". Chris says "I hope so". For the first time, he shows his power.

He gets buff and he gets tattoos all over and he lookskind of like a villain but he says "I will text you later I got importantthings to do". She says "Okay bye Chris see you tomorrow". Shewalks back into the house and goes to the restroom and before she can evenclose the door a portal opens and grabs her.
