It had been tree days since he saw the heros the first time. Tubbo had forced him to stay home for three days avoid heros. Tubbo did this to make sure Tommy wasn't caught but Tommy can't handle being coupled up in the apartment. It being his first day out snice he met the heros he was ecstatic and tired. Tubbo had woken Tommy up early with a half hour talk on how to be safe so Tommy was really tired.

Tommy entered a convenient store for an energy drink to wake himself up with. He went to the back of the store where they had the drinks, and cold stuff and looked at all his options. Should he go for a normal soda? Or should he get something like a monster? He needed energy so monster it was but now the question was which monster did he want. He was squatting by the door of freezer looking at his opinions when someone came in the store. Tommy didn't pay attention to whoever came in until.

"I need your hands up and all the money from the cash register" A man spoke harshly. Tommy looked up at the mirror that was is the corner so the cashier could see if anyone was trying to steal at the back of the store. He saw a man in all black with a gun pointed at the cashier who was shaking. Tommy had to stop this. He took out his trusty bat. He needed to knock this one out. He generally tried to avoid knocking people out but he had a gun he couldn't take chances. He moved quietly and quickly toward the man and swung quickly.

Swing. Bang. Thud.

He was down. Tommy got the gun out of his hand and slid it away. He took out some rope from his bag and used it to tie the man up. After the man was tied up Tommy walked over to the gun and put its safety on and unloaded it. He looked over that the man who the gun was pointed at before. He looked shocked and scared.

"Hey man everything is alright I took care of it" Tommy tried to calm the man behind the counter down.

"Please don't hurt me" The man spoke nervously.

"Hey man its fine im on your side" Tommy dropped his bat and held his hands up to the man to show he didn't want to hurt him "call the police I need to turn this wrongen in"

"O-ok" The man still looked unsure of Tommy but he did as he said and called. Tommy put the bat in his bag and he heard faint sirens in the distance getting louder.

"I have to go because being a vigilante is Slightly illegal" Tommy waved and walked out of the gas station. The closest police station to this gas station was north so he ran south away from the police.

The running woke him up a little which was nice. He wondered how the man at the gas station was doing. Would he be ok by himself? The police would be there by now so he would be fine. Tommy started to walk now and his heart beat started to calm down. It felt great it get back into the vigilante experience though he was pretty hungry so he decided to head home and make something to eat.

The moon was almost full which made it easier to see at night though Tommy already had pretty good night vision being a raccoon hybrid and all. The streets were empty and quiet. It was calming, Tommy felt at peace.

He made it home and went straight into the kitchen. Tommy would just have a quick bowl of cereal that would easy and not to loud to not wake up Tubbo. But of course Tommy had to drop the fucking bowl. It crashed loudly bits if bowl going everywhere. Great just great. Tommy heard Tubbo walking over to him hastily. Tommy awkwardly stood there in the mess he created not entirely sure how to clean it up. Tubbo looked tried and scared i mean who wouldn't be scared waking up to a loud crash in the middle of the night? Tubbo looked relieved when he saw it was just Tommy breaking a bowl instead of some intruder.

"I uh hope you didn't like that bowl" Tommy joked to ease the tension. Tubbo was more awake now.

"Tommy" Tubbo said tired and exasperated.

"Should I just go clean this up now?" Tommy asked already knowing the answer.

"Yes Tommy I'll go get the broom for you" Tubbo offered.

"Thanks mate" Tommy awkwardly stepped away from where the bowl originally shattered and sighed as he looked down at the mess. Tubbo handed Tommy the broom then walked over and sat down onto the couch.

"How was patrolling tonight?" Tubbo asked tiredly as Tommy swept the bits of bowl.

"Pretty good I stopped a robber at a gas station but other than that it was pretty quiet" Tommy explained as he swept.

"Thats good but it be better if you joined the he-" Tubbo started suggesting before getting cut off by Tommy.

"No." Tommy said forcefully "no im not supporting a corrupt system"

"But Tommy I can't support-" Tubbo began again.

"It doesn't matter" Tommy was tried of this conversation. He wasn't going to become a part of a shity system. He would never.

"Then get a normal job" Tubbo suggested coldly. Tommy was surprised.

"Tubbo I can't do a normal job-" This time Tubbo cut him off.

"Because you don't want to. In order to keep ourselves alive you need to get a job and ill help you find one that complies with your needs but you cannot be jobless my job doesn't pay enough for that" Tubbo spoke dryly. Tommy stoped sweping he knee he had to. "Do you remember that promise we made?"

"Yes" Tommy sighed no more avoiding a job now. Tommy had promised to do anything to make sure able to get away from their situations.

"Welp amazing conversation we'll talk about his more tomorrow after I get home from work at about 5pm" Tubbo announced as he got up "good night"

"Good night" Tommy replied. Tommy finished cleaning and went to bed himself.
