"I have all day." Bakugou snickered.
The blonde had been sitting on the bench next to the tub, asking Deku for his name, or information about him.
But the boy was too resistant and wouldn't stop refusing. "I don't care." He said, dunking underwater, with his tail flopping lazily on the side of the bathtub.
Bakugou leaned back, against the wall. He wasn't going anywhere, until he knew a little bit about this thing.
He had spent the night reading about it, but nothing was really important. The book mostly spoke about what they eat, and where they were found. What year they were found, and the help they gave humans. It also spoke about the humans' betrayal towards the Mermaid clan.
But that was all.
Of course, Katsuki found a few tips helpful. He was able to feed the boy now. Fish. Just raw fish.
The blonde found it disgusting, but who cared. That thing needed to eat too.
Katsuki looked up to the hybrid, who had now submerged itself fully, before it came back up to the surface.
"I want to go home." He mumbled, sadly.
Bakugou flinched at the fact that the things slowly started to cry. He didn't even know Mermaids could cry. He knew they couldn't sweat, but nothing was mentioned about them being able to cry.
The tall male bent down, resting his elbows on his knees.
"I'll bring you back as soon as I can. But I want to know more about this connection humans had with you guys." The Prince said.
Deku sobbed quietly, before resting his head on the side of the tub.
"My name is Izuku Midoriya, by the way." He sniffled, shyly.
"Izuku Midoriya... Nice name! I honeslt thought you'd have a name like... Erm, I don't know. Coral...? Reef? I don't know." Katsuki said, earning a loud laugh from the upset boy.
"No, not anything like that. Just Izuku Midoriya." He giggled.
Bakugou nodded, smiling softly. He had to seem approachable.
"I don't know much about the humans and Mermaid pact. But all I know is that Mermaids used to help out humans, and the humans used to help out Mermaids. We used to fish for you, and you'd repay us with with places to live." Izuku explained.
"Places to live?" The blonde asked, not understanding.
"Yeah. If we'd get tired of water, we'd come to the surface." Midoriya said, playing around in the water.
"How?" Katsuki asked.
"Pull me out." Izuku ordered, smiling.
Even if he didn't like Midoriya's tone, he pulled the fish-man out of the tub, and let him to rest on the carpet.
"Now wait. Us Mermaids, we can get rid of any Fish-Like appearances we have. Just by sitting on the shore, and drying our scales. We'll turn to humans. Even if we're not." Izuku explained, as his tail started to slowly tingle.
Bakugou nodded, before taking out a towel. He had to take precautions. If Izuku was about to turn into a human, like he said, then wouldn't he be naked? Not something Katsuki's interested in seeing.
The blonde gently placed the towel around the base of the hybrid's tail, just before the fins started to disappear.
Bakugou stared. He felt like he was in a fantasy movie, where fairies and dragons exist. But this was real life. A mermaid was living in his bathroom, and was about to turn itself into a human.
Hard to believe.
After the transformation was done, Katsuki was stuck with a plain-looking boy, sitting on his bathroom floor. He hadn't changed very much. He still had that curly green hair, and his freckles. He also had his big green eyes.
All that had changed was his tail and fins, which had completely vanished.
Katsuki sighed. Clothes. He couldn't let the poor boy naked on the floor.
Not in the Royal Palace, of course!
