Third Person's POV

Horror filled the eyes of Princess Momo as she watched her own father beating Yosetsu up. Once her mother noticed the three entering the hall, she stopped her husband from beating the criminal up because their own daughter was there watching them.

The king himself was terrified, not meaning to have his child watch her do a brutal thing to the boy. He let go of him and made him drop onto the ground and fell.

“H-Honey, you’re back!” Her father nervously smiled at her, hoping this won’t lead to too much problem..but he spoke too soon.

“What are you doing to him, father?!?!” Momo yelled to his father as she angrily walked towards her father.

Kirishima and Bakugou went to Awase’s aid to check if he was okay. “Dude, you okay? You’re bleeding out a lot,” the dragon shifter said in worry.

“Y-Yeah..I’m alright.” Yosetsu coughed up a bit.

“Yeah bleeding out and having a black eye is definitely alright for the human body.” Katsuki sarcastically said, which earned him a glare coming from Eijirou.

While the two of them helped Awase heal his wounds, the Yaoyorozu family were busy having a discussion with each other. Instead of having a happy reunion knowing that their daughter has returned, Momo shot back with an angry and frustrated reaction towards both her parents.

“How dare you punch Yosetsu right to the face?!?!” She shouted at them.

Her father ignored what her child just shouted at him and held her hands, “Momo, let’s get you cleaned up for a bit. We can discuss this furthermore once you’ve settled in-”

“Don’t touch me!!” Momo glared at her father as she yanked her hands away. “You have no right to touch me as if what you were doing to him was nothing! You will not treat me like a baby as if I’m stupid to think that I did not just see you do something so horrifying to Awase!!”

The king was shocked and sighed, “Sweetie, you’ve had a long day and I think you should get some rest first. We’ll talk about this later, okay? We’re just glad you’re alright.”

“I have all the energy I need to argue back at you right here and right now!!”

This angered her father more, “Momo, your attitude right now is unacceptable.”

“Well your lack of empathy is a disgrace to royalty if you think what you’re doing is making you a good role model!!”
“Momo!!! That’s enough so keep your mouth shut!!”

She scoffed, “Keep my mouth shut??!? You can lock me up in this castle and keep me away from what’s outside of our kingdom, but I have every right to open my mouth and yell at you whether you like that or not, your highness!!!”

The queen walked towards her husband and daughter as she asked Momo, “Sweetie, that boy is a criminal and he’s a thief. Why are you so defensive over him?”

“Because I love him!! He’s not a criminal, he’s one of the kindest and most caring people I know and it’s just all of your fault for making him have the image of a bad person!!” The princess shouted at them.

Momo’s father groaned in frustration, “He’s been stealing for his whole life!! That man deserves to be behind bars as punishment for his actions.”

“Why give a broken man a punishment when he’s the one being treated wrong?!!? He became like this for what people have done to his life and him stealing carries no evil intentions. All Yosetsu wanted was to survive and continue to live his life.”

“Still!! He is a bad person with a cold and dark heart.” Her father argued back.

The princess turned to her mother and asked, “Mother, do you not remember the face of the boy who helped me return to you when I was lost in the town of our kingdom a decade ago?”

Her mother’s eyes widened in shock due to realization. The queen turned around to look back at the injured and unconscious criminal and took in his features. “W-Was that...him?,” she asked.

Momo nodded, “That was before everything in his life went downhill. He’s still a very caring guy and with a warm heart, it’s just that what he’s doing makes him bad because it’s us who are not having empathy for these types of people. Why should we still judge people by their terrible actions and call them bad people or some villains?”

“She’s right, your majesty. King Bakugou and I encountered both she and Awase in the forest yet we saw nothing suspicious nor wrong between them. Plus, he’s really a good guy!!” The dragon shifter spoke, standing up for the thief.

All Katsuki did was nod in agreement while dabbing a towel on Awase’s injuries.

Momo looked back on both her parents and spoke, “This does not apply to him, but to everyone too. We’ve done things that are bad and even though they aren’t in the standards of crimes, we can call ourselves bad people too. These types of criminals just lost their way in life, but if we are willing to help them, then we can help find their way back.”

Almost everyone in the room was shocked by what the princess had pointed out. Honestly, not everyone had thought of it that way, knowing what a certain person goes through to what made them turn out like this.

Both the expressions of the princess’ parents softened, realizing how much their daughter’s point stands and how guilty they feel towards Yosetsu. Not just Yosetsu, but to all villains too.

“Oh sweetie, we..never thought of it that way,” her mother spoke.

The king nodded and smiled softly towards her daughter, “I have to agree with your mother on this one. I’m truly sorry for yelling at you and..harming your dear friend, Momo.”

“Thank you mother and father, but I do have to say, I don’t really consider Yosetsu as a ‘dear friend’ to me,” Momo blushed.

This brought confusion to both her parents, but this brought excitement to Kirishima.

“THE SHIP HAS SAILED!!!”

“QUIET YOU BASTARD!! THERE’S AN BLEEDING IDIOT LYING ON THE GROUND RIGHT NOW!!”
