Chapter 3

The next day, after school was over, Kaminari found himself being pulled away to somewhere by Mina for a "private conversation", as she put it.

"Soooooo, what are we here for?" The blond asked.

"Well, I noticed you and Iida were acting weird at the mall the other day…"

Kaminari could feel his stomach drop as the pink girl spoke, anxiety welling up in his chest as he tried to mentally prepare himself for what Mina was about to say with the very little time he had.

"So are you two a thing or what?" Mina asked excitedly.

Oh, that was actually something Kaminari could deal with. It was very simple to just deny that they had any sort of relationship like that and he could just move on from it!

He could, but currently Kaminari found himself losing his ability to form coherent sentences and Mina wasn't planning on giving up without getting to the bottom of what was going on.

"Nope!"  Kaminari started. It was a very good start, now from here he just had to not fuck up, which shouldn't be too hard!

"We don't have anything going on besides a great friendship!" The blonde continued. That was… good! He managed to not fuck up the first sentence!

"That still doesn't explain what happened between you two though."

"Well we were just,"
'no, don't say 'we' that'll make it sound like you had any idea why Iida was acting weird.'
"I was just buying something for him and-"
Mina cut the blond off with a dramatic gasp and an excited "SO YOU TWO ARE DATING!"

Kaminari sushed her so that no one's attention was caught."We aren't! I swear! I was just doing it as a friendly gesture!"

"Why be embarrassed about it then, hmmmmm?" Despite how hard Kaminari tried to lie, he still very much sucked at it, and Mina could tell this.

Kaminari sighed, knowing she'd only question him further and find out no matter what so he decided to just give in at this point. "I maybe have a small crush on him.."
"KNEW IT!"
"DON'T TELL ANYONE!"

"Well what's up with Iida then?"

That was something Kaminari hadn't considered. Of course, if Mina's gonna go full detective on this she'd have to figure out what was going on with him as well. "I really don't know."

Mina nodded, knowing that really wasn't a lie due to Kaminari saying it so naturally. "Well I'll be off then. Bye Kamiiii!!" Mina said as she skipped off, Kaminari returning the goodbye as she left.

Most Kaminari could do was pray Iida would be able to handle Mina, knowing that'd be exactly who the pink girl would go to next.

Wait… Iida…

HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE TUTORED BY HIM TODAY.

Kaminari quickly rushed to the dorm's elevator, pushing it's buttons in a panic. When he got on Iida's floor, he saw Mina already in front of his door, talking to him.

Fuck!

"Alright, thanks! Bye Iida!" The pink girl said as she turned to walk off again. Kaminari's heart rate was faster than the speed of light currently, his palms were sweaty, knees weak, arms were heavy, there would be vomit on his sweater already…

However, Mina walked right past him and into the elevator, which calmed the blond boy down for a slight moment until he heard her say the words "Good luck."
