Before the fight, Yuki and Midoriya were given a floor plan of the building. Yuki studied it carefully, her mind buzzing with anxiety.

"This shouldn't be too hard, right?" Yuki asked, trying to inject some confidence into her voice. She glanced at Midoriya, hoping to see some reassurance in his expression, but instead, he looked incredibly tense.

"Hey, calm down," Yuki said, her tone more gentle this time. "I'm nervous too, but panicking isn't going to help us." She could feel her own heart racing, but she pushed those feelings aside. She just has to get through this without messing up.

Midoriya looked at her, his worry still evident. "It's just... I think Kacchan—uh, Bakugou—is going to go after me. He's always been like that."

Yuki nodded, trying to stay focused. "I see... But we can work with that. At least we have some idea of what to expect." She hesitated, not because she doubted her abilities, but because she knew how much was riding on this.

What if I make a mistake? What if everyone sees that I'm not as good as they think I am?

"Let's make a plan," Yuki said, hoping that having a strategy would help settle both of their nerves. "If Bakugou's likely to come after you, then we need to be ready. I think... I think it might be better if I handle him while you try to make a run for the villain's hideout. That way, we can split their focus."

Midoriya considered her words, and Yuki could see some of the tension in his shoulders ease. "Okay, that makes sense. I'll do my best to reach the weapon while you deal with Bakugou.""Right," Yuki nodded, feeling a bit more confident now that they had a plan. But the fear of messing up still lingered in the back of her mind. She wasn't worried about Bakugou specifically—she just didn't want to fail in front of everyone.

"Let's do it," she said, determination in her voice as she pushed aside her doubts. This was her chance to prove herself, and she was going to give it everything she had.

Yuki and Midoriya climbed through a window and cautiously made their way down the narrow hallway. Yuki's eyes scanned the area, her mind already formulating how to deal with Bakugou if he showed up.

'The halls are pretty tight,' she thought, 'so my kagune should be able to block his path if he comes after Midoriya.'

Suddenly, the sound of rapid footsteps echoed through the hallway. Yuki's instincts kicked in immediately. "Midoriya, watch out! Someone's coming!" she warned, her voice low but urgent. As expected, Bakugou appeared, leaping high into the air with his arm outstretched, ready to unleash his explosive quirk. With quick reflexes, Yuki shoved both herself and Midoriya out of the way, narrowly avoiding the blast that smashed into the wall behind them.

Both of them hit the floor, but Yuki sprang up immediately, her eyes shifting from their usual color to the dark, glowing red of her ghoul form. Her kagune burst forth, four large, tentacle-like appendages unfurling behind her, ready to defend Midoriya.

"Deku, I won't do enough damage to get this fight stopped, but I'm going to get close!" Bakugou shouted, already gearing up for another attack. Before he could follow through, Midoriya moved in a blur. Grabbing Bakugou's arm, he twisted his body, using the momentum to flip Bakugou over his shoulder. Bakugou hit the floor with a heavy thud.

"Midoriya, run now! I'll keep him here!" Yuki yelled, her voice firm and commanding as she took Bakugou from Midoriya.

Midoriya nodded, his eyes filled with determination, and took off down one of the halls.

Bakugou scrambled to his feet, fury blazing in his eyes as he set his sights on Midoriya. "DEKU, GET BACK HERE!" he roared, charging after him. But before he could get far, Yuki's kagune lashed out, wrapping around him and hurling him into the wall. The impact left Bakugou momentarily stunned, but he quickly shook it off, the anger on his face intensifying.

He came at Yuki again, his explosions creating clouds of smoke that momentarily blinded him. Yuki used the opportunity to slam him into the wall once more with her kagune.

"Yuki, are you okay? I heard a loud sound. Are you hurt?" Midoriya's concerned voice crackled through her earpiece.

"Don't worry, I'm fine," Yuki replied, trying to keep her voice steady despite the adrenaline coursing through her veins. "What about you?"

"I'm good, but I haven't found Iida yet. I think I know where their hideout is, though."

"Okay, be careful," Yuki responded, focusing on Bakugou, who was slowly getting back to his feet.

"Damn you, tentacles," Bakugou growled, clearly frustrated. Yuki couldn't help but notice how he seemed to give everyone a nickname, though that wasn't important right now.

When Bakugou finally stood up fully, his expression was nothing short of furious. "Get out of my way, you extra," he snarled, launching another explosive attack.

This time, Yuki wasn't fast enough. The blast singed the skin on her stomach, the pain sharp and immediate. She gritted her teeth, refusing to let it slow her down. Ignoring the burn, she charged at Bakugou with her kagune, but he dodged it with a smug grin.

He thinks he's won just because he dodged, Yuki thought, narrowing her eyes.
