When Yuki walked through the big doors leading to the classroom of class 1-A, she was expecting to see strong boys and girls alike, future heroes ready to take on any challenge.

What she wasn't expecting was an angry guy with glasses yelling at another student who looked like he was having the worst hair day of his life

"Take your feet off that desk now!" the blue-haired guy shouted, his voice full of authority as he chopped the air with his hands.

"Huh?" the blonde guy scoffed back, clearly unimpressed.

"It's the first day, and you're already being disrespectful," the blue-haired student continued, his tone strict.

Yuki decided that it was not her business, and walked around them as she made her way to her assigned seat.

Maybe I just don't understand how kids who haven't been homeschooled behave.

as she listened to some more music coming through her headphones while she unpacked her bag and observed the class.

A dude with a tail? A really short guy with... balls on his head? And—wait, are those floating clothes?

Yuki blinked in disbelief. Who accepted these people?

While Yuki was observing her new classmates, the doors to the room opened yet again. And the students were met by a half-dead man, lying on the ground, in his sleeping bag while siping what seemed to be a pack of juice.

"Go somewhere else if you want to make friends. This is the hero course," the man said in a flat, uninterested tone.

The entire class froze, staring at the bizarre figure before them. "I'm your homeroom teacher, Shota Aizawa. Nice to meet you," he continued, barely sounding like he meant it.

Yuki, like the rest of the class, was shocked. This guy? Our teacher? She wasn't sure whether to be concerned or amused.

"It's kind of sudden," Aizawa went on, pulling out a stack of gym uniforms, "but put these on and go out onto the field."

The class, still stunned, slowly started to move. Yuki grabbed her uniform and joined the others as they headed outside. So much for a normal first day,

A quirk assessment test?

"What about the entrance ceremony? the orientation?" a girl with chubby cheeks asked.

"If you're going to become a hero, you don't have time for such leisurely events. UA's selling point is how unrestricted its school traditions are. That's also how teachers run their classes. you kids have been doing these since junior high, too, right?" Aizawa asked.

The class looked confused but didn't interrupt the man further.

He turned to Yuki, "Miyazaki, you finished at the top of the practical exam, right?" The whole class turned their gazes towards her.

'I would much rather die.' Yuki thought while getting anxious under their stares.

"What was your highest score for the softball throw without your quirk?" Aizawa asked.

"60 meters, I think...?" Yuki answered. In reality, she had no idea what her score was, she just made that number up on the spot.

Most of her classmates were impressed but a blonde-haired boy looked down upon her with fire in his eyes.
